Jeff Gordon Extends his #1 spot with his first win in a long time. I was starting to wonder if he could still win the Sprint Cup just by coming in 2nd all year long.

It was great to see the win come in Texas as well. Good news for Steve too. I bet a friend that his 3rd win will come in Sonoma. I'll be there watching. (I'm not coutning the shootout. I mean there will be at least one more before Sonoma.)

It's good to see Jeff Gordon back on the pole. With that speed, he may have a shot at his first win in a long time. I'm starting to get a little tired of him blaming the car, since they've had as long as anyone to figure it out.
