I got charged for this one tonight...

Ditto.  Was pleasantly surprised to see the charge pop up on my card tonight.

From @Attractions Magazine tweet:

"The next #StarWars film to be released after the end of the Skywalker Saga will be by #GameOfThrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. $DIS"

I missed out on the pre-orders but they now look readily available online. I just ordered 2 and have them set to ship to my local Target. Simple. Convenient.

Just did the same and ordered two for in-store pick-up.  Hope at least one is a minty card for my Carded Han collection.

Here's the link for those that need it - TVC Stormtrooper Han Solo

edit: ran over to Target and picked up my two TVC HanTrooper figures at lunch.  Man, I wish every Target exclusive was this easy - so much simpler than trying to find a red shirt to pull a DPCI.

I'm hoping more of these make it to the pegs.  There's been no sign of these in my area.

Don't forget - these are only Target exclusive for now.  Per Hasbro's latest update on May 4th, these Retro Collection figures will be available at "fan channels" this Fall -

From the press release -
"Available exclusively at Target, Target.com on 5/12/2019, and at most fan channel retailers nationwide in Fall 2019."

If you can't find them now, just wait until Fall and order a case of them from Entertainment Earth (#sponsorplug).

I'm hoping we get the "Rob Precedent" applied to this one- now that Rob has bit the bullet and paid $10 over EE price for his, it should be popping up at 50% off again somewhere soon.

I wonder if the Rian Wilson trilogy will be on the 21/23/25 or 23/25/27 years?

Disney also announced updated dates for Avatar -
12/17/21 Avatar 2
12/22/23 Avatar 3
12/17/25 Avatar 4
12/19/27 Avatar 5

Disney did not confirm what all those Star Wars movies will actually be - They could be a combo of stand-alone or the GOT Guys/Rian Johnson projects.

You might be right Nick but life has taught me that, on average, most people are dumb.

If there are people in this world dumb enough to make the Kardashians famous, there are certainly people dumb enough to drop $600 on these thinking they're getting a deal.   :P

Singles of the Stormtrooper are available at EE.

Nice, thanks! I just preordered the final 13 stormies I needed to replace the POTF2 versions standing in the back of my display. The hinged-knee ones with revealable blaster damage, not the 1996 ones.

Just a friendy reminder to help your buds at JD out by using our affiliate link (always available on the front page) or right here for direct link -> Vintage RO Imperial Stormtrooper

(example - 13x Stormtroopers x $14 each = $18 to help pay site server fees! ;))

There is 0% chance you could sell a carded one of these as vintage.

I couldn't say 0%.  Maybe not to someone who knew what they were looking for, but I could see a few uninformed folks getting suckered by an auction.

What do the backs of the cards look like?

#webmasterbrag

I've received a lot of cool Hasbro PR things in my time on the toy news beat (like the roaring Chewbacca box they used for the SOLO toy PR loot), but I think I have a new favorite.

I received a Retro Collection Early Bird Certificate Kit in the mail today from Hasbro PR.  What a fun way to promote both May the 4th and the new Retro Collection stuff, which should officially hit Target.com on 5/12.  Looking forward to getting the figures in the mail to see what kind of a package they've whipped up for the actual figure delivery.   ;D

I'll happily pay $50 next year for 12 months of free shipping if they keep making all the product available.

Yeah, I get the gripes if you're not Pulse Premium, but with the premium deal it's great to know I can grab a single figure or two when they pop up and not have to worry about shipping.  But, like Rob, I'm an opener for the most part so I'm not upset if the package my figure comes in is damaged a bit before I toss it in the recycling bin. :P

I've been checking the link on and off today and finally hit one of the magic time slots where a pre-order was open.

My order says it'll ship on 5/16 - if that's true, I don't mind waiting a couple weeks to get this one knocked off my list without having to hit Walmart endlessly this summer looking for this set. :P
