Watto's Junk Yard / Re: 25 pounds in 6 weeks. Can I do it? V 2.0

hell i'll join in.  i figure i need to lose about 20 so while everybody laughs at how pathetic that is, you guys don't know how lazy my ass is to actually do it, or how low my will power is to run to the snack machine.  i hit my 10 years since i graduated H.S. this June so even though i might not even go to a reunion i'd at least like to get back to the weight i was back then.  so is there a definate date as to when we start?

picked up 2x veers and 1 derlin last night.  Anton the armor sticks on fine no problems of it falling off, un like the carbonite block that can't stay up a damn.  it looks a little weird without it, but i don't think it takes away from the figure in the least.  my only complaint i suppose is the holster and blaster.  blaster way too small, but i suppose they gave him that one to fit the small holster and it bends the blaster while in it.  and maybe it's just mine but when i put the helmet over the hat, the helmet kind of flairs out on the sides.  i think it'd been better with a chin strap.

damn fritz i just saw the dead stormie & tie pilot, those are just mind blowing.  i'd love to see a pic of how you have them all displayed.  and the door gunner, did you hollow out an old at-at driver helmet and stick in a clone?

you know glassman i don't thing i've ever replied on any of your stuff :-[, that being said your work has always really impressed me.  skill, paint apps, creativity, and execution are all qualities that one day i hope i can achieve at your level.  now then a question have you ever thought of putting the clones/stormie in an evolution kenner styled box?  not sure if that'd even be possible or worth the effort just something i thought would be a little intresting to see.

famine whoa that really kicks  :-X.  i like it a lot.  i think that depending if this supposed be outside, which by the rock on the floor it probably is, that maybe adding floor/wall panels it might bring it out a little more.  just adding some straight lines with a sharpie or coloring in some squares a different color.  also i've seen some small square/rectangular bagged pieces of wood at michaels & walmart that painted the right color and glued in the right spot would make the panels stand out a little more.  or there are also foam sheets w/adhesive backing i've seen at michael's you could cut to desired shape, but i don't know how well they get painted over.  or you could just forget everything i said because it's a really great piece and i wish i had the time/space for something like it.

tonight ?!?!?!? >:(  i need my daily fix of chewie customs up now :'(  can't you get those jawas that you have working in your sweat shop work faster.  ;)

DD i've always loved that comm krell of yours w/the poncho deal/ and rope.  I actually saved a pic of that one and have always wanted to copy it but have never been able to find anything similar to that poncho.  the helmet on the marine A+ painr apps on him are great too, as far as the knee pads, what about the detachable armor from the obi in clone armor from that jedi vs. sepies set.  i don't have it in front of me but i suppose that might be suitable, that is if you're willing to sacrafice such  A class figure  ::).  great repaint on durge, i think by far an under developed character.  great service droid, good old rust buckets are great dio fillers.  the assasin droid while good paint and head, i'm not a big fan of "buff" droids.  i think the c-3po, epii droid factory version would've been a better body.  and my fav of the bunch your sniper great and i mean great paint apps.

hooray :D loving this quin far more than the soft goods.  while i can appretiate soft goods and the time and effort that people take to make their own I've never really been a big fan of it, at least not on 3 3/4 size figure anyway.  now that i've had a look at yours chewie and can see the way you went with the dreads i think i can start on mine now, i've been at a total loss on how to even start with the hair i've not even bother trying much with it.  i think mine will be jedi version mostly because i don't think i'll ever be able to get his skin tone right especially with the bare arms.  as for the rest love the Gran didn't have a clue as to whose body that was.  usually on most people stuff i see it right away.  the wook the teeth and eyes are a little too white or should i say too much contrast i'd have made her maybe a tan color.  lovin' kraist the parts blend great together.  although the "metalic" look on a clone while different i'd prefer to see him in white with legion markings or camo coloring.  the bounty hunter once again great use of parts and color i'm really liking the pose on the left, but i'd give him a different gun.  on plageuis would the mask be removable and he only wears it to hide his true identity, or is it an all the time sort of thing kind of like cobra commander?

chewie definately best quin i've ever seen, the hair looks great but whatever happened to trying out the predator braids we'd talked about so long ago?  and i have to agree with bjardkerr the base color for the skin looks a little corpse-ish.

WHOA!!!! your skill with a dremel is just mind blowing, i wouldn't even have the guts to try that.

just got mine yesterday.  "excellent" -Mr. Burns.  loving him much more then that POS POTF2 version.  my only gripe is he's a little too pink, at least on mine anyway.  but i'm sure i can fix that.  the POA doesn't bother me, but would've been nice if anything to use to customize with.  that's what i think about when it comes to a figure.  could/should i buy more then one to use for a custom?  the POA is a good determination factor in that.

muchos gracias jedijaybird.  holy  :-X.  those are awesome.  so let me get this straight the utapau clone come in both battle of geonosis & coruscant waves???  is it just me or does the helmet on the fire fighter look too skinny?  loving Cody I'll be buying 7 or 8 of him.  are the others: ani, obi, grev etc... all repacks?  which ones?

 >:( don't have access to rebelscum, someone please post pics :'(  although technically you might be right Mikey since we never see under the "firefighters" helmet who they are.  they aren't just firefighters.  if you take a look in the right corner of the screen when obi is in the breifing with Cody in the hangar you see what looks like the "firefighter" working on a ship with an R unit next to him.  all the more reason to get this figure for your dio's since he does more then just put out fires.
