30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Recent 30AC Purchases
« on: July 30, 2007, 12:44 PM »
I placed an order on for the Mc Obi and Yoda, so I'm done with exclusive figures for the year. The SDCC Exclusive Destro figure was tempting, but I passed. If it was the gold head variant, then I would've bought it.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Considering Unmoderated Forum

I know I am a part of the younger crowd on these boards, but I say go for it. I know I wouldn't participate in it, but I think others on these boards would enjoy it. In my 1 1/2 years of being a member here, I cannot recall any instances of certain members having problems with other members. (By members I mean people who contribute to the forums regularly; not trolls, post padders, people who continually post one word in each post, and other annoying people) The Mods and Admins here are awesome, so I'm sure any problems caused elsewhere by this proposed forum can be fixed.

I dunno, this set just doesn't cut it for me. I am really starting to hate the troopers that Hasbro makes up (Purple Clones, most of Order 66, Shadow Troopers) so this set is an easy pass. Had this been a set with two AT-RTs with a normal paint scheme, two white AT-RT drivers, and an white SA #41 trooper, I'd happily plan to get two of them.

I saw the pictures of this set on, and the two sets look very cool. The ARC Troopers and Commandos are welcome additions to the clone army, and the Mandalorians should look pretty cool behind Jango Fett. The head sculpts are not the greatest, but I can leave the helmets on. Overall, 14 good figures for a great price. Now I need to place a pre-order.

The price should be around $20 at Target and Wal-Mart, and $25 at Toys R Us.

I'm definitely going for three of these nice tanks. Between V-Wings, TIEs, Separatist Tanks, and these AT-APs, army building vehicles is going to get expensive.

Great job on this dio, Robo Quack!

I really like the detail on the broken parts of the bridge, and the paint makes this dio look like a model straight from the movie. Now you need to populate it with some more figures and post a step-by-step tutorial on how you made the bridge, as I want to make one myself. Once again, very good job and keep up the great work!

I really want the three beasts in this set, but the price is not the nicest for the three beasts and three partial repacks. Had the Geonosian and columns from the original Anakin, Padme, and Obi Wan been included in this set, I would've happily paid the $60. Now, I'll wait until I see the set in person and then make my decision.

I too am getting as many AOTC clones as I can. I wish the Battle droids were the EP1 mold. However I like the paint app on this new 2pack. Just wish they didn't include the comnmander droid. I just don't need Droid officers. I want grunts only.

I believe that a fourth variation of Battle Droids is planned for later this year, and it will contain the same droids as the current set but with no commander/officer deco.

I'm not so sure about this set. As much as I like aliens, this set sounds like it may be expensive and contain figures that are not too great. I'll make my final judgement after I see actual product pics.

I really like this ship, and the new pics of the deco and figures seals the deal for me. The $30 price seems very fair, and if the R5 unit in the ship was removable, I'd be planning to buy two of these nice ships.

Feedback / Re: Darth Simmons' feedback
« on: July 21, 2007, 10:23 PM »
I got my figures from my first trade with Darth Simmons earlier this week. He was great about communication throughout the process, packed the figures flawlessly, and shipped the figures very quickly. Darth Simmons is a great trader to have around and I look forward to completing more transactions with him in the future. Thanks again Mr. Simmons!

Feedback / Re: JACKOFTRADZE's feedback

Wrapped up my fourth trade with JACKOFTRADZE earlier this week. This trade went just as smoothly as the last three, and I am looking forward to doing business with him again in the future. Thanks again!

I really hope that the rumor about no missile launcher for the Vanguard is not true. I think Hasbro is capable of tooling up some new accessories for the figures in this wave, but if they can't, then the least they can do is include the rifle from the Saga Endor Rebel Soldier or T-21 Blaster from the Evolutions Sandtrooper. I would hate to have the two Vanguards that I plan to buy wield pistols in combat.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: EE Mandalorian 14 Pack
« on: July 10, 2007, 10:36 PM »
Damn, she looks pretty cool, as does the male Mandalorian. The capes are very cool, but I think they'd get in the way in a fight. I am very disappointed by the apparent lack of holsters on Bralor. Despite the hatred towards the two clone troopers in this set, I think they are pretty interesting figures and I hope that a squad of Bralor's commandos are included, perhaps with articulated knees and ankles.
I think these figures can make really good heroes or villains to fight with or against any of the main characters from the movies if you ignore the established clone training backstories, which are kind of boring. I really want to place a preorder for this set, but I still want to see at least two more figures first.
