30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Target TIE Bomber

So the Bomber is $25 and the Interceptor is $35...figure that one out.

Must be the extra red paint they had to use on the Interceptor... :P

Just to give you an update, I was able to get the Agents of Chaos 2-in-1 and the Dark Tide 2-in-1 HC novels on ebay today for $30 shipped.  I was surprised as hell to see I won both of those auctions this morning.  Most to all of the other NJO HC books went for $30+ each, so I must have been lucky I guess.  I few more down...

I also joined SFBK last week and just received my 5 Legacy of the Force HC's, the Dark Nest 3-in-1, and the Lord of the Rings 3-in-1.  I'm kicking myself though because I completely forgot that I was going to use the 'free' selection to get the Comlpete Visual Dictionary and I ended up getting the LOTR 3-in-1 instead.

Sith, you don't happen to have extras of any ANH orange, do ya? Or any extras of any series?

I have a few extras from the ANH, a bunch of the ESB and RotJ sets that I could help you out with if you like.

PM sent.  Hope I can help.

I know that it's been a while since anyone posted here, but I recently found all of my cards when I moved out of my last house.  I ended up putting them in a binder and will hopefully display these when I build my SW collection room in my basement.

I have the Blue, Red, Yellow, Green and Orange sets from ANH (not complete).  Almost a complete set of ESB series through card 132 and a piecemeal of the rest up to 348.  Then I also have a set of ROTJ (not complete).

It was also fun discovering that I had 'Incredible Hulk - The TV Series', 'Mork and Mindy', 'Battlestar Galactica', 'Superman - The Movie', 'KISS', and Series 1-3 of Garbage Pail Kids cards all tucked away in a shoe box.

Ok, I've been waiting to dive into these until Maul showed up... Now I don't have an excuse!  Those all look awesome, but the two Mauls are going to be very high on my list.

If anyone wants to be my pimp, PM me and let me know what I have to do for those two  ;)

Was finally able to take some pictures of my tats and download them since my computer is finally out of storage.  The sun/yin-yang is blurry but you get the idea.

Yeah, I know that it's going to be hard for him to do if he stays healthy and even harder if he gets injured.  But you never know, he could end up playing the field for a few more years and then go the Frank Thomas route and end up a DH when he's no longer able to make a contribution on the field.  Either way, I think he has the best chance of any active player.

For a long time I thought that Jr. was going to be the one that broke the record, but that was before the dark times... Before the NL...  Now I think that he's the perfect candidate for an AL DH...

I hate the fact that Bonds now holds the records for most home runs in a season as well as the overall home run record.  They are both amazing accomplishments, I just don't like that it's his name in the books.  There are very few baseball players that I dislike, but Bonds is at the top of the list.  IMO, I don't think that there has been one positive thing that he has contributed to the game.  Well, at least nothing that has ever been proven positive...

I can't wait until A-Rod blows the overall record away.  Hopefully I won't be waiting too long, especially at his current pace.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: What HDTV to buy - LCD, Plasma, DLP
« on: August 8, 2007, 04:24 PM »
Those both look great guys!  I'm very jealous.  As far as purchasing one for my new place, I lost the arguement with my wife that we needed an HDTV before we needed to get window coverings for the Family Room and Morning Room...  Looks like I'm going to need to wait until Christmas.

And before anyone asks, yes, the money we spent on the window treatments that my wife wanted would have been able to get me an HDTV...

The Legacy Collection / Re: New Evolution Sets
« on: August 3, 2007, 09:10 PM »
Although I loved the original Evolutions sets, I'm just ok with these.  I think that the Jedi set is my least favorite and the Sith and Mando sets are tied.  I'll more than likely get all three just because I'm a completist on certain lines (to a fault), but I would have much rather had the SA Qui-Gon and SA Jango as single carded figures.  Or I guess in Jango's case, in the EE 14 Pack that I already ordered  :P

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: So whos liking all the EU stuff?
« on: August 3, 2007, 09:03 PM »
I'm really liking a lot of the EU offerings this year, especially the McFigs and the Clone Wars Wave 5 figures.  As someone who reads the SW novels and the Dark Horse comics, I could see a TON more  figures/vehicles/battle packs/etc that could be released.  Not to mention all of the video games that have already been produced and THE one we are still waiting for (and waiting... and waiting...).

What I'm going to be really interested in is where the Clone Wars cartoon series line goes next year.  I would hate to see the continued 30AC line and the Saga Legends lines get overshadowed (and under ordered) just to keep the CW cartoon figures on the shelves...  I guess I'll find out all in due time.

Other Toy Lines / Re: Buffy Palz Checklist?
« on: July 24, 2007, 09:17 AM »
Hey guys, I just started looking into the Buffy Palz line.  Is there a list posted of what was released?  I didn't see one and I'd like to get the complete line.  Any help you can lend would be appreciated.  Thanks.
