The Vintage Collection / Re: 2012 "Vintage" Collection Wave 12
« on: April 24, 2012, 11:53 PM »
Sorry I am making a late coment on this thread

I am not sure, perhaps someone could tell me....

The guy in the original vintage dsc photo is Colin Skeaping (Mark Hamill´s stunt)?

Seeing some pics the face of this Imperial navy trooper looks like Colin, blond hair,
a serious rictus.

Decent action figure, also like his new kind of holster.

Hope this Hoth Luke will develop a new removable hat hoth Luke
Hasbro should decide to use the removable anh Vader with Shaw head.

DST nice, looks he has a different stand from tlc

Kithaba ok, deserves a chance.

The real challenge comes for an update of the Battle Poncho Endor Luke
because if Hasbro uses the belt from deleted scene (construction saber), the working holster must be added too for the blaster.

Like all this way, hope the figures arrive to my country this march.

Nice vintage look for esb duel, like Luke :), ressembles the very vintage first release. Vader from this pack is ideal to make a diorama, he is a bit more muscular than the average TVC basic body. I think collectors could use him to build the duel on potj Carbon Freeze Chamber. The Boba Fett spots longer light grey sleeves than ever on the shirt which hold his chest and stomach armor. Insist, like this tri pack for customize dioramas.

Weequay has surpassed the skiff master detail, his head is very accurate, the wrinkles the hair tail.

Lumat caught the vintage style, looks not very detailed. An ewok figure needs a solid paintjob to succed

Emperor royal guard looks cool, hope they made a new removable helmet version.

Ashoka, Obi Wan have the necessary accesories.

Nien nunb lacks teh middle section of his face coloured pink

A nice advance on ewok depiction, althought seems they alterante Chirpa and Wicket torsos, hope to see the final paintjob which improves characterization.

The pilots heads seems accurate, but Porkins body is not fat enough (remember the rumor to use Willrow body for a new porkins, only fat belly)

I agree that some info, gaps are missing in a 21 minutes episode
when this happens, abrupt ending, clichés could occur.

the blend of characters often compromise the ethos or personality of a major one,
as stated above Obi Wan couldn´t prevent the workers slaughter.

Some new characters are kinda  "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carrol
for example, the fungi, medusa bounty hunter, looks like the Republic is more
animalizated each following time, they have to put a limit between alien and beast.

And the most bizarre thing, Anakin failed to slash the fungi bounty hunter and the green female alien one, however she was pushed away by the blade of his lightsaber.

CW episode 18 was a necesary stage to show Kenobi skills
Dooku is suspictious about his mercy, a sith is clarivident.
Good fight between Rako and The reptilian designer of the box.

At sometomes the ruthless of Cad Bane is exaggerated,
however he showed a "human side" by saving Rako?

Remembers epIV A New Hope, Docking bay 94
 this scene
Jabba setting 15 % charge
Han telling the Hutt: "Jabba, you´re a wonderful human being."

Nice to see gamorrean guards, nal hutta and more vivid fighting choreography on this episode
Looks as the producers are trusting more on Anakin skills, he was about to defeat Bane with all his gadgets.

Naboo Pilot and Olie show more detailed sculpt on belt, bandoliers, coat and helmet.

Seems as the new way to launch new OT pilots, redifine their sculpt in detail.
