Thanks to Jeff for the Hoth Trooper and for digging out his crusty old POTF2 Lando for me.

Props to Ryan on prompt payment for some older trooper builders and a comic pack set.  Enjoy!

More props for fast payment on some mini-padmes.  Enjoy!

I really think the show has Done the Bartman.  I laughed maybe one time tonight.  I really like Holly and Michael together though.  They really are a good pair

I'm with you there - I miss Holly.    :-\

I heard that the change is going to be an all new and improved Out of Context thread.   :)

Maybe not "technically" a superhero, but I didn't want to start a new thread necessarily.  I just saw this story detailing how "Grayskull" (the new take on MOTU) has gotten a new writer.  Their description of the movie sort of concerned me though:

Warners sees the big-screen version as a gritty fantasy and reimagines Adam as a soldier who sets off to find his destiny, happening upon the magical world of Eternia. There, Skeletor has raised a technological army and is bent on eradicating magic.

Now, I've been watching some of the old school episodes lately while on the treadmill (got one of the DVD sets on Amazon for $10) - and it seems to me that "magic" is a pretty big part of the Skeletor character (not to mention some of his cronies).  I do wonder how well MOTU could translate to the screen, but if it is done, hopefully they have a better take than this.

Wow.  You're right - that is a huge departure from the cartoon.  I haven't seen these in a long time, but it kind of seemed to me that dark magic was kind of what Skeletor was all about.  I don't get the concept of taking a franchise and completely altering it like this.  I know they're probably counting on tapping an existing fan base, but why not just call it something new and invent your own reality if you're going to change the whole concept?

Jesse, thanks.  Someone else PM'd me with a full set.  I appreciate the response.---Mike

I have to admit, I am a little "tired" of some of my POTF2 guys.  The vintage figs are what I played with as a kid, so I'll always love those, but the figs coming out these last two years are really fantastic compared to some of the crap from the mid-90's.  On the flip side, we wouldn't have the figs we have today if not for POTF2's success, so its definitely an important part of SW action figure history.  I think over time I'll grow to appreciate these more and more.

I'm going to guess Jack and the group cause the event that makes the hatch necessary.  It will probably also be how they get back to the present.  Richard will probably see them disappear and think they died.  Or I could be way off.  Part of the fun of this show is the speculation.

I have absolutely no idea what they are going to do next on this show, and that's what I love about it.  Any speculation on how Locke knows so much about the island now that he's back?  That and finding out how the hell Richard never ages are my favorite mysteries right now...

Linda Hamilton and a bed ought to be pretty enticing

Ha!  Nicely done.  Damn she's lookin' foxy these days.

I guess I just didn't buy Kitsch as Gambit because all I saw was Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights.  He kept losing the Nawlins accent and going back to Texan.

Ah, that makes sense.   I've never seen the show, so he's new to me, but I know what you mean about seeing an actor as a previous character.

I'm fifteen and I work for minimum wage ... some offers may be turned down

Those are some good picks.  I don't think I'd want any re-works at this stage on figures or ships.  If this was our last shot at new figs, I’d vote to see a host of characters from the New Jedi Order.  Something like 19 novels, a comic on the way and we still have no Jaina, Jacen, Anakin, etc.  I’d love to get a Saba, Ganner, Kyp Durron, Lowbacca, more Vong, etc.  I’d like to see more Legacy (comics) figs as well, though that’s been well covered with recent and upcoming figs.  There are some great Sith to choose from, as well as Syn & Blue yet to be made.  I’d even like to see a few of Cade’s old pirate cronies.  For ships, the Imperial “Eyeball” fighters and Cade’s ship the Mynock would be pretty cool additions.  A Vong coralskipper would be cool as well.  With a fourth option, I’d probably take Anakin’s Twilight from the Clone Wars as well.

Again, Fail.

Dude, 90% of the **** you post in here isn't funny OR out of context.

How exactly are these quotes not out of context?  Quoted without the surrounding context, these all can be interpreted differently in isolation vs. the poster’s original intent.  Moron.

Besides, it’s funny to me.  I could really care less about what some guy who lives with his parents finds humorous, dude.

Anybody else a fan of Missy Peregrym from Reaper?

That looks pretty lame... It needs some serious weathering.
