Photonovels and Movies / Re: Henry Phoenix #1 - The Order

Interesting story you have here. I agree with CHEWIE in that I think you should add some descriptions of the actions. But other than that it was a very enjoyable read. I also liked the Cantina, good job using those "posters"! :)

I ******* hate those self checkouts. Half of the nearest Wal-Mart's checkout lanes have been replaced with them. They rarely work correctly and they always give me some sort of BS error message about how my item was not placed in the bag, or how it needs to be rescanned. Whenever I have to use them it takes me 20 minutes just to buy 2 or 3 figures. Ridiculous.

I'll pass. I've yet to buy ANY Jedi Starfighters, and I'm not going to start with an oddly colored one.

Simply awesome stuff. Gotta love the crappy seaweed that washes up along Texas beaches. :)

My criticisms still remain the same, they're in the other thread. I think the focus is the only thing that's improved since your last photonovel...

Those Rebel Troops will be welcomed in my collection, it'll be nice to have some nicely articulated Rebels for once. I just wish they came with some rifles too.

Yeah, this wave is really starting to sit. The only figure I'm not seeing multiples of is the Sandtrooper. Great figures, but the casual toybuyers aren't digging them I guess.

I'm kind of glad they're sitting though, it's allowed me to get caught up for the first time in a while.

Picked up Hem, Luke, and Garindan today, thus actually catching me up! Bring on Endor (but let me get more cash first)!

Revenge of the Sith / Re: 500th commemorative figure... Vader?
« on: July 12, 2006, 06:38 PM »
I also saw the dreaded "Pyramid of 500th Vaders" return at Target. This is really crazy since this particular Target is waist deep in both Hoth wave and Tatooine wave Vaders. Looks like they're selling 3 variants of the same Vader now.

Also, the price was $14.99... never going to sell at that price... just like last year.

Kraft is a bit too "dry" for me (maybe it's just the way I make it?), I'm a homemade Mac N Cheese guy all the way.

I had no interest in this set until I saw that pic of Kanos and Jax. The figures look great, I must get them now!

Saw it tonight, and it was really good. By no means is it the best sequel ever (either ESB or Spidey 2 holds that honor), but it was entertaining, I never lost interest during the movie, and the 2.5 hours flew by. It's heartwrenching to say this, but I think it deserved to beat ROTS's record.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Jeff For Fan Club President!
« on: July 10, 2006, 11:44 PM »
While it's BS that the guy in 2nd Place won (I want to know why/how that happened), am I the only one who considers this Fan Club to not even exist? It's really just people paying $40 for a magazine subscription and to visit SW.com. I think that me buying figures and posting on JD is more of a fan club.
