Watto's Junk Yard / Weird smells/scents that you enjoy
« on: March 7, 2004, 02:57 AM »
Are there any strange scents, smells, or odors that you are oddly attracted to?  I like the way chalk dust smells & the scent of a skunk.

I hope that Jeff Skilling and/or Ken "Kenny boy" Lay are next!

First the Jews were made to look like a mob of idiots.

I didn't think it made the Jews, as a whole, look like a mob of idiots.  However, I do believe that it made the Jewish Chief Priests look like idiots (which they were).  They moved to have a murderer set free (Barabbas) over Jesus, who was accused of blasphemy.  Their motives were purely political.

I'm very excited about getting a new, updated Dagobah Luke figure.  Finally!  I plan to buy at least two; one to pose with Yoda on his back & the other to use for Jedi training.   :P

Ghost of Ben figure looks real nice, too, but I'm not at all impressed with R2.  Yoda could've been a lot better.  All in all, I'm really looking forward to this wave.

" Can it get repeat business, after the churches stop buying all the tickets?"

Good point.  I saw The Passion last night and personally speaking, one viewing was enough for me.

Lots of great replies in this thread.

I am a keyboardist and synth enthusiast.  I took piano lessons for a few years as a child and got involved in electronic music production in my teens.  Currently, I help write jingles and filler music for local radio stations, etc.  I enjoy what I do and the experience I've gained has been great, but it's not something I want to do the rest of my life.  However, music will always have a place in my life.  :)

No pictures of the artwork or anything yet, and curiously, no mention of which version of the films we'll be getting. . .

They will probably be Lucas' "definitive" versions of the films, the special editions.   Ugh.

BTW, is there any truth in the rumors about these DVD's being special-special editions?  I heard that Lucas was going to tweak the special editions to accommodate the PT.

Here's a pic (from a recent eBay auction):

It looks pretty nice.
