Transformers are having a price increase when the new movie stuff hits ($20 for Deluxes, $30 for Voyager) so it wouldn't surprise me if these went up too.

Came down on the price. I just want these out of my house now.

Glad to hear that they might slow from the yearly release schedule soon. I'm not sure the brand, or more accurately, the licensees, can handle half their stock going to clearance every year.

I'm hoping Mr. Iger just misspoke and it's how Han MADE a name for himself by being the best smuggler, as Jabba said he was in ANH.

I've been reading those Revolution comics from IDW where they're trying this same thing, and they're awful. I don't see how a bunch of movies aiming for the lowest common denominator could be any better, but I've been surprised before.

I guess Hasbro recognizes the true strength of their brands isn't in the toys anymore, but the intellectual property.

Here's the latest article featuring Paul Harrison, where he declares his disdain for lots of things.

This doesn’t mean, however, that Hasbro can’t approach the super-articulated 3.75” line in a more direct-to-market approach. Heck, Hasbro Toy Shop is out of stock of good products 90% of the time. Why not utilize them to bring a 3.75” collector-focused line back to the general marketplace again?

This bonehead forgot why Hasbro started HTS in the first place- to sell GI Joe online when retail no longer wanted it. It didn't work out so well, and I don't think Junior here knows as much as he claims to.

Not sure if it's important, but I saw a few of the new X-Men figures at Walgreens today while I was hunting for Transformers. Anyway, they had Cyclops and Sunfire, and they're $11.99 this week with card, which I assume is a Rewards card or something.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 8

Decent wave, though I have no need for any of them. I don't have the Proto Fett, but might grab it this time. Hopefully, the case assortment favors the Rogue One figures that I haven't seen yet. I've only seen two Jyns and no one else. Of course, the Phasma wave is just starting to saturate here, so there's that.

My local store is finally on its way out. Not surprised. Every time I tried to buy something there, I'd either not be able to (Jyn Eadu exclusive), it wouldn't be in the system, or the computers/registers wouldn't work properly, so I stopped going months ago. Not going to miss it, as it was kind of the place that time forgot, but it does suck to see another empty storefront on the road that store was on, University Avenue.

I just hope they don't get a great exclusive for Episode VIII.

Found Jyn, Cassian, Chirrut, and Vader tonite. Only picked up Jyn because Cassian and Chirrut had bad eye paint, and I really don't need any more Vaders.

Avoid the TIE at all costs. I've had mine for a month now and the wings absolutely refuse to stay attached. If it's just sitting there, the wings will pop off. It's a piece of junk.

The figure is pretty cool, though.

Finally found this today, and I got shut down at the register. I don't know what difference a week makes, but here we are. Guess I'll just buy it on clearance when that store finally closes next year.

I figured it would be all Droids, but I was hoping for something weird like R2-D2 done in Droids cartoon colors. Oh well.

I remember much of this same reaction to the Mandolorian sets EE offered years ago, and look at those now.

Didn't know where else to put this, so please move if necessary.
