I thought it was one of the stupidest movies ever written.

I agree. I dubbed it Into Dumbness when I first saw it. I always believed Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman were glorified hacks, writing the first two god-awful Transformers flicks, and correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they also co-writers on Superman Returns?

I watched Into Darkness this last weekend on Netflix (and it bothers me it's like the most popular thing there right now) and I couldn't help but roll my eyes all over again at all the things I didn't like when I first saw it. I want to like it, but it's too hard.

I had decided to stay away from spoilers like I did for the prequels, but Facebook is making that damn near impossible. Guess it's another reason I should leave...

^ Totally agree. Some more imaginative or at least not-lazy writers would be a huge improvement.

I was wondering, where is the Lady Jaye/Baroness pack? And while we're at it, looks like the Snow Job/BAT set is missing too.

Picked up a Stormtrooper, Bespin Luke, and Han at TRU last week, since they're actually getting stuff instead of leaving pegs bare. I have to admit, Han and the Stormie are really neat figures. Now to pick up Fett...

More US tour dates!

So, so happy to see this. The St. Paul show seems the best for me.  :)

Found some movie toys at K-Mart tonight, some big guys that looked like the soap bottle figures, and a Voyager Grimlock. Not my cup of tea, and hopefully they sell to the kids, because the colors were definitely skewed towards their demographic.

And oh my, was the packaging atrocious.

I've been selective with this line so far, and Jabba goes into the "no" pile now.

My bagged Cross Country arrived today. Hopefully all the incentive figures are this great going forward.

Wow. Not big on third party stuff, but damn that's neat. And I guess it's time I joined up at tfw2005.  ;D

Oh man does this look cool...

MP-22 Ultra Magnus. I always loathed the G1 toy (brick!), but this looks like it will make up for those shortcomings.

TRU has that weird colored sticker clearance thing going on right now. The green sticker is now 60% off, so I grabbed a Toma/Eaglehawk for $18. Not bad, and kind of makes up for them never stocking any new figures.

1) Alpine v2
2) Bombstrike
3) Psyche-Out
4) Repeater
5) Hit & Run
6) Muskrat
7) Big Ben
8) Spearhead
9) Crimson Guard Immortal
10) Slice
11) Night Creeper Leader
12) Vypra

Best. FSS. Ever. I question offering the v2 Alpine over a redux on v1, but it is what it is. Glad there's no international repaints, since that's what kept me out of 2.0.

Also, the 2015 Membership figure for 3 3/4 collectors is Arctic Dr. Mindbender, presumably from the movie. There's also an add-on Cobra Wave Crusher submarine, being a repaint of the SHARC.

Figures, after I dropped waaay too much cash on a set of NV, Jinx, and Blind Master on ebay. My local store is a lost cause, with thirteen w1 Roadblocks on the pegs. Roadblock, quite literally blocking the road. (Ha! I kill me.)

Maybe this will drive prices on ebay down for Night Vipers. I wouldn't mind having a couple more, but at $40 or more each...

I wonder if Tuesday Morning is still getting the Ultimate wave in. I just found out there's one about an hour south, and I might consider hitting it if they do. Of course, there's a TRU Superstore there too, so it may be worth the trip anyway.
