I can certainly understand the possibility for buyer's remorse on this one!  I recently traded some of my own poorer condition carded vintage so as to "trade up" to a really nice mint on card boxed no flap fold vintage 12" Han Solo myself.

Sweet McMetal!  And you got the BOGO 50% off deal as well, right?

$1350 is actually a screaming deal for this unpunched vintage grail, it's just that in this economy I can't justify spending it.

I'm partial to my 2002 vac-metal Toy Fair Vader, but who takes that one off the card?  It's still proudly displayed carded to this date in my office.

No way for me- I'd rather drop than much coin on a nice swiss watch!

Yep-  I still remember chasing after all the POTF2 variants- long sabers, open and closed hand Han, half-circle Fett, brown vest Luke, etc.  I've got them all and although they may not be worth that much now, the memories of the chase still remain!  Who knows, someday their prices may surge!

Nice score on the blue snags McMetal.  I'm on the look-out for a nice condition one as well so please PM me if you happen to come across another one.  I traded my C-5 or so one wih obviously repainted boots as part of  my recent 12" boxed Han trade deal.

These "vintage" price points are nothing compared to the real vintage carded figures.  I've dabbled alittle bit in the carded vintage side of the hobby and it gets very expensive really fast. I recently traded most of my average-poor condition carded vintage figures for some really nice 12" boxed vintage to try to stem this expensive part of the hobby.  Plus, it's really hard to find any affordable decent condition carded vintage figures anyway, so I'm looking forward to this new wave.

I'm a sucker for the vac-metal figures.  My favorite to date is still the 2002 Toy Fair Vader.  Can't wait to see this C-3PO!

Thanks Jesse!  Long time lurker and finally got around to registering.  Through the years I've acquired a pretty good POTF2 carded collection mostly.

TRU here in NC has yet to relase the vintage figures as of this week.  Guess we'll have to wait until next month.

I removed the cardboard base from my 500th Vader and it is a really cool display piece with the cloudy globe removed.  I've never been able to find one that had a clear globe to this date.

Thanks McMetal!  I really thought long and hard on that one as the POTF vintage carded figures that I traded included Amanaman and Luke Stormie, albeit, the bubbles were open, so essentially I priced them as loose, complete figures in the trade value total of all figures about $500.  Someday, maybe, I'll replace them in much better carded condition.

But the 12" Han vintage in such a nice box, without the flap having ever been folded, was just too nice for me to pass up- I've never actually seen a 12" vintage box without the flap folded as I'm told the store employees actually folded most of them on the shelves.  I consider the electronic R2 as gravy given the box and figure condition value of the original trilogy's best actor!
