Other Toy Lines / Re: Muppets
« on: March 15, 2004, 05:12 PM »
Ordered my Indy Kermit yesterday and today the status went from processing to sent to warehouse. I have started to just collect the Muppets from the Muppet show and the movies . I didnít watch much of the Muppet tonight show so Iím not real familiar with all of the characters form that show. However in the future if I like the looks of a figure or if it is an exclusive Iíll probably get it. I just canít stay away from exclusives.

I have a big problem . I am a toy addict, I jump at almost toy every line that has come out I the last four years. My wife is one too so there is no one to talk us out of it. Foremost we are collectors of any thing star wars 3 ĺ in, 12 in, kubricks, bendums, playskool, Legos, fast-food and even the little ewoks from the Kenner preschool series. The only current star wars thing weíre not collecting is the unleashed set not sure why though.

Simpsonís: We had made it through eight series of these figures and play sets. We ended up selling them, have some series seven and eight and a couple of play sets if anyone need them.

MOTU: We collect them until the became really hard to find and the sold them also.

Harry potter: Not the best figures on the planet, But we enjoyed the movie and picked up some figures. Sold them also except for Ron. Everybody loves Ron.

LOTH: We loved the movies and got the burger king set, but never the regular figures. Havenít figured that one out yet ether.

MUPPETS: Have them all except the white tux rolf, and WW DR. Teeth. Canít see selling these in the future. Their great!!

McFarland sports picks: Just lindros

Kubrick: Get almost everything that comes out!!!

MINIMATES: The X-men set and Mr. T

Probably more I Just can't remember right now. I need to start collecting space and money

Thanks for the info. I love the indy figure but i just can't see paying that much right now, who knowing in a week or two though. I had to take a two week break from the ebay money was going out faster than going in. I'll keep a look out on your ebay account when i start back up to see what you got though great items and shipping price too.

Must keep up to date on my new addiction. The Muppets look great huge fan all the palisades exclusives and variants. The star wars are the best, and I like the marvel ones would love to get a night crawler. I must say I even like the Disney and matrix.  I may end up buing anything the put out as long as my money and marriage last.

Kubricks / Series 2

Is there usually this much time between the series in other kubrick sets or news about the new set. I started collecting after the second series came out so I donít remember the length of time between the two sets, But it seems to be taking for ever for news to come out on the new set. I just finial completed my series one (how cool is dengar I thought he wouldnít be that cool) and canít wait for the next ones to come out

The stands I use for my vintage figures do not work with the modern figures or the kubrick figures the peg is to big. It looks like the kubricks would use the smaller peg stands like the new star wars.

The 4-lom is only 13.00 a great price and has been the only place i have seen it for sale.  Just to let you know it my get pricey trying to piece them together, I found the dengar and zuckuss to be the hardest to find.

I found a deal for eight of the series 2 figures for 60 dollar( what i thought was good).and by getting a case i may miss out on some of the other variations, I would like a chance to get one of the harder to get ones. However good that maybe.
