Amazon Gold Box is running video game deals all day, including Gran Turismo 5: Prologue for $23.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/

Up right now is Blazing Angels 2.  I guess we'll see what the rest of the day holds.

The IMDB thing is wrong.  Those articles say Scarlett Johansson is attached to a film called Amazon.  The same people who wrote Amazon are doing Conan.  But Johansson doesn't have anything to do with Conan.

Me... I'd like to see Scarlett Johansson in a loincloth.

Ah... gotcha.

There's a ladder along the wall on the left of the barrier.  That took me a while to find myself.  Just walk left of the barrier and follow along until you hit the ladder.

Should I get involved with their fight at all ?

Which part are you at?  There's one part where you follow a guy around in the dark streets of Europe.  There's another section where you fight alongside resistance fighters in the Middle East.

They'd be at your door every week wanting to talk.  My wife accepted a pamphlet from an LDS that came to our door one time - she ended up coming back constantly.  She loaned us a book.  (Actually she loaned it to me saying my wife requested it, which she didn't)  Then she came back to see if we'd read it to our girls.  It was educational, you see.  She'd be bugging us to this day if we hadn't moved to another city.

A lot of people do, so it saves them buying redundant (and likely inferior) hardware.  And yeah, an HDMI cable would be nice.  Maybe it'll come standard when most TVs use HDMI.  Seeing how you can get an HDMI cable for around $5 online, I don't see it as a big deal.  I ordered my cable before I even bought the console, but I'm crazy like that.

Superman has always been about nobility defeating corruption.  Those are his most effective stories.  Authors sometimes try to focus on Superman as the outsider, but I don't think those work.  Superman is more like a rock star, or a quarterback.  People don't shun him because of his superiority... they embrace him.  They're awed by his presence.  And that doesn't make for a grim movie.  You can't be jaded around Superman... it just doesn't make any sense.  This is a guy who spends his life saving the world from catastrophes.  Just because he's nice.  So if they really want to capture his essence in film, they need to approach him from that vantage.  The most recent film made him seem too small, I think.

I've never really had a good grasp on Wonder Woman.  I don't know of any particular reason why she fights.  But she too seems a lighter-hearted character.

DC movie plans

I don't like that they're planning on all their films being realistic and grim.  Who wants to watch a "dark" Superman film?  Or a "dark" Wonder Woman?  Superman shouldn't be depressing, it should be inspiring and uplifting.

I've had some camera issues, especially when fighting bosses.  When you're knocked down, it inverts the y-axis for some reason.  So I end up aiming at the floor for a second until I allow the camera to right itself.  It's annoying, but nothing too horrible.  I only really had problems with Raging Raven, since the battle is so vertical.

I haven't had any problems with it outside the boss battles.  You need to approach it as a stealth game rather than a third-person shooter.  Ideally you never need to fight at all.  The elite players can get through not fighting or even being seen by anybody.  I'm not elite, but I use the tranq gun almost exclusively.  Creep around slowly.  See an enemy.  Put him to sleep.  Repeat.  In a few areas I just ran through after getting spotted.  Those 3-armed balls in the old hanger kept spotting me, so I just booked it to the door.  I don't have the patience to memorize patterns like I did for MGS2 and 3.  Since I can get ammo from Drebbin at any time, I use the tranq gun very freely.

One thing I did do was increase the speed for aiming.  I bumped it up to 8.  Made the boss battles a lot more manageable.

I figure the second time through I'll use a sniper rifle to kill everyone.  One of the ones I have has a silencer.  Should be fun.

It's less about how it looks and more about how it works.  I can't see it being all that comfortable for thumb-typing.  But who knows.

You might need to dig out your router documentation.  I don't remember it being difficult at all.  Just needed to pick the security method, and type in the 10-digit pass key.

Nah, it's fine.  It was basically a comedy act.  She had a speaker in her belt, I'm guessing.
