That figure looks more like Tyrion than it does Jon Snow

The Vintage Collection / Re: Willrow Hood

I was watching ESB on TNT on Saturday and something caught my eye...THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING

Luke Skywalker, the savior of the galaxy (until Rey came along) was the original owner of Willrow Hood's Ice Cream Maker

https://twitter.com/JediDefender/status/779862559637639168

Putting together a timeline:

  • Luke takes Maker with him from Hoth
  • Luke is trained on its use by Yoda
  • Luke loads Maker and heads to Cloud City
  • Luke leaves Maker in his X-Wing and brings R2 into Cloud City
  • Luke starts dueling with Vader and gets his ass kicked
  • Willrow Hood (who must be Force Sensitive!!) senses the Maker in the X-Wing and "borrows" it
  • Lando evacuates the city
  • Willrow Runs
  • Willrow Heads to Jabba's Palace and takes the name Fozec
  • Luke's real agenda of infiltrating Jabba's Palace is to retake the Maker (screw Solo)
  • Willrow goes into hiding biding his time (Maybe until around Episode VIII)
  • Luke takes the Maker with him to AHCH-TO where he has been waiting for someone to take with them the secrets of the Maker
  • Rey shows up trying to give back his Saber, when really she's here to learn about the Maker

Willrow really was just a thief...huh, but now we know he was Force Sensitive and probably the son of Mace Windu (who isn't dead)

TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season 3 (Spoilers)
« on: September 21, 2016, 11:24 PM »
I've been wrong before about this show, especially thinking the Rebels would be in Rogue One but man I just get a sneaking feeling that Snoke=Ezra steam makes sense especially with the stuff going on in trailers

I've also thought at different times it could even be Mace Windu but man...

And why the hell are the rebels not in Rogue One.  This is part of the reason I don't like Clone Wars or Rebels with my whole heart, Kanan, Ahsoka and Ezra need to be dead by the beginning of ANH for it to have any meaning for and there is absolutely no way that they would do that on a cartoon.  A movie though?

 >:D I loved Super 8.  A lot and I thought of it a lot watching Stranger Things, really what sold me was the bike scene which was straight out of ET and how they handled it was so spot on.  I agree with what you are saying slightly Rob, it's not the best TV show ever.  But it hit all of the right feels for me and I can't wait for season 2

One of the greatest things to come to the small screen in a long time

Loved absolutely every minute of this, homage to ET, Goonies, Teen Horror flicks, Stephen King and more

The bike scene with the non descript vans was amazeballs

I give this a solid 10/10 with 10 being the highest

I was just thinking about Rebel Pilots last night, and I don't disagree.  I like 'em, but I'm good unless I have a pilot seat to fill or there is a new manufacturing technique.   At this point there's nobody in the flight suits that I can say I specifically have been wanting in 3 3/4-inch - I mean, Hasbro nailed it.  Griz Frix? Shira Brie?  Cesi Eiriss? Wedge after Wedge? Biggs a-go-go?  We've done well here.  Heck, I'd go as far as to say I'm good for Imperials - minus a couple of retro updates, maybe - until we have some big ships or playsets to fill out.  Even Ewoks, I can't believe we've got Marvel-based Ewoks - maybe some Kenner flavor ones, and a realistic Cartoon Logray might be fun, but that's where I'm at.  We really got a ton of awesome stuff over the years.

I think the one area there is still some need on your list is Imperials...not sure how well the sets would sell but I think updates to Ozzel, Piett, Veers, and especially Tarkin with some holes in Sheckil and Lennox and there could be enough there.  Would people buy it?

I also still really hope you can get that Funeral Pyre Vader set made, that thing was awesome (now with bonus Kylo Ren holding a mini Charred Head)
