I bought a WiiU a few months back at Target when they were offering a $25 giftcard + 5% target card + 5% pharmacy rewards.  The ad I got from TRU the other day showed the Mario 3D version @ $269 but not seeing that reflected on their site.

Gift to me from me for Xmas.  Glad it's backwards compatible with the Wii but I hear the controller life is not all that great.  Have a few more PS3 games to get through...Waiting on a decent price drop on the PS4.

Mario and Link in HD?  Yes please.

GI who?  I've given up on Joes.  Certainly wouldn't start all over with a new scale.  Was a fun little reboot while it lasted!

Not sure how i feel about that but too many John Connor actors in this franchise thus far.

I liked what I saw.  Dug seeing the stormies and the x-wings on top of the water the most.  Can totally see a parody of this trailer coming out fairly soon.

I farted....  Can you smell it ?

I'm quite content with my $35 ko MP cars personally (I love kittens though)  I don't believe any other MPs are coming to TRU until next year.

3. What is the deal with these new Disney Store diecast vehicles? From the pictures I've seen online, they look quite good, particularly Slave I. Do you know what scale these are? For only $10, I can't imagine them being very large, so I'm guessing they are somewhere between Titanium and Action Fleet size? It looks like they at least have a couple moving parts, but likely no stand included. What do you know about them?

They're neat, but not perfect. For example the Landspeeder doesn't have an exposed nacelle like it should - but otherwise, is pretty great. The scale is inconsistent, each one is pretty small and pretty cheap - if you want a series of models that are in scale to one another, this ain't it. The vehicles are nicely sized for the price - they run circles around the Titanium Series Ultra vehicles Hasbro did a few years ago - with some being a little bigger, and some being a little smaller. All I can say is go check them out at the store - the look is there, and the deco is quite good on the few I've seen finalized up close.

I picked up the UCS X-Wing.  Last day of no tax on Amazon last week left me fiddly.

Wanted to pick up the mini-modulars at TRU this month but no way I'm forking over $300 just to get x4 "$20" sets for free.  I'll stick with the big ones.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Speaking of editing, I hope for VII they do away with a lot of the screen wiping effects when going from scene to scene. They're fine when used sparingly but they got a bit overwrought as the prequel progressed.

Those were some of my favorite parts of the prequels.
