Saga Collection '06 / SAGA Stands - Print Removal?

Has anyone had any luck removing the names on the stands? They look to be laser etched which would make it a bit tricky. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thanks!

Collections / Loose Figure Run from 1978-Present Finally all in Display Cases

Here are some shots of my loose figs. I take horrible shots so please excuse them. The lighting is horrible and we will be tearing this all down come Spring when we add lighting and some fresh paint. I can then put every thing in correct order. I have a few empty cases plus there is plenty of room in these existing cases for another 300 figures or so. I picked up the 16 display cabinets from various suppliers over the last year. I'll take shots of my vehicles at some point since they are all over the place. As are my MR FX Sabers and some carded figs and army builders.

30th Anniversary Collection / 30AC #13 Death Star Trooper

Not sure if it was a hint of things to come but the new cardback shows the Trooper's colors more to the vintage style of grey tunic we have all been asking for. Thoughts? Seems like a no brainer and a few extra bucks for Hasbro.

Looks like the original lineup will try and give it one more try with a 2007 reunion Tour. Here is the link:

Eddie and the gang must be broke in order to give this a try once again. VH with Dave was the first concert I saw back in 84 but something about this tour seems to be a problem waiting to happen.

Watto's Junk Yard / Syd Barret Dead at 60

For all you Floyd fans it was announced a few hours back that Roger Barret passed away on Friday. Most likely due to complications from diabetes. Strange that this announcement comes the day that the new PF DVD gets released.

For those unfamiliar, Syd was one of the original founders, singers and guitar players from PF. He left the band only after a few albums to record two solo albums. After which he suffered from severe breakdown and has suffered from depression for the last 30+ years. His breakdown it was speculated was from his overuse of LSD during the 60's. News is still coming in but it seems that the other members were informed sometime over the weekend or even on Friday, the day of his death.
