Actually, Jesse, Hasbro does have some innovative packing in their Sigma 6 Joe line.  The $15 figures have a weapons locker that's made using the plastic top and bottom of the packaging.

It's a good 1:6 scale accessory and because of the anime-style figures which have oversized hands, many of their accessories are usable with 1:6 figures.  Spirit's bow, for example, is a great 1:6 item as is the sniper rifle that comes with Long Range.

I do like the looks of the Marines coming from Hot Toys.  Besides some Star Wars comics I'm pretty much on the lookout only for some of the current Hot Toys kits at Wizard World next week.  I'm hoping to find a couple so I can check them out in person before ordering up a case.

I'll see what I can do but no promises as it's limited to 200 pieces.

I don't own any of the consoles but I've played plenty of games on all of them.  IMO the X-Box is really where it's at for the hard core gamers.

Game Cube seems to have a lot of great games for younger players, though.  Nintendo was the go to system a few years ago for SW games but now that you can get them on the X-Box why bother?

For the price I never really understood the Playstation 2 or the 3 that's coming out.  My buddy John has all three (GC, PS2, XBox) and it's been years since he powered up the PS2.

Another friend, Jared, still plays PS2 games but whenever we have a gaming night it's the X-Box that gets the attention.  Now that he just picked up his 360 I doubt it'll be long before he boxes up the PS2 and I don't think he's even thinking about getting a PS3.

Nothing really specific this year.  In past years there have been a SW guest or two but none this time around.  I'm only going to be there Friday otherwise I'd love to see Kevin Smith talk on Saturday.

I usually find some good deals on SW merchandise of some sort whether it's cheap trade paperbacks or imported toys.

There's usually something interesting.  I see Tom Hodges is listed as an artist this year so I may stop by his booth to see what he has.  And I usually support an indy artist every year by picking up a couple comics or some art or whatever.  I might also cruise for some of those Takara and Hot Toys Predator figures we were talking about in the other board.

Thanks again, Jesse.

I think I might keep my eyes open for the Predator Takara figs at Wizard World Philly but I'll probably be picking up a couple of these Hot Toys Marines at least.

I notice news posts here and on Yodasnews.com before RS.com posts it.  GH.com used to be fast too but they've been behind the ball on breaking news.

And how often does RS post news that's already broken overseas on that German site (4-inches I think the name is)?  They are definitely not the first to break news all the time.

I'm fine with the ladies posting men in the thread but those Carrot Top photos are starting to freak me out.  Posting the Top should be banable offense!   ;D

Here's the hottest girl, ever:

Cameron Diaz?  Please.

I don't think she's attractive at all.

I'm happy to know I'm not the only one thinking that.  Although, back when she was doing topless bondage movies and "The Mask" she was pretty hot.

Thanks for the info Jesse.  Now I have another question.  Anyone know how these compare to the Takara Microman figures that came out last year?

I passed on the Predator figures last year and I'm kind of kicking myself now but if these are better than the Takara stuff maybe I'll jump on these.

I'm not familiar with these Snap Kits.  Are they more like the Gundam kits that were out than regular snap together models (cars, planes and the like)?  Because if they are then I might be interested in picking up the Marines when they come out.

Anyone know how many points of articulation these might have?

It's not a list of who's most attractive, it's a list of who's most influential & successful.

Yeah, but Kate Bosworth?  Seriously, she's in "Superman" this summer but can most people name 2 other movies she's even been in without looking it up?  She's not a household name by any means so, top 10?  Eh, I don't know.
