That footage was incredible.

Where exactly did the tornado(es) pass through?

One passed through Arlington and another through Lancaster and from what I've gathered died out around Ih45.  The storm kept producing funnels and we had our kids out of the portables at school and all buttoned up in the building until well after the dismissal time.  There was one funnel near Town East Mall here in Mesquite and over near one of the high schools there was some pretty good wind damage.  I think this funnel eventually made it to Forney and really messed some stuff up out there.

I'm sure there are more.  Channel 8 here reported something like 15 touchdowns, but that number was unconfirmed as of last night.

Dude, sorry to hear about that.

So my dog has a habit of jumping the fence if she doesn't get to come back in the house when SHE wants to. I look out back to see where she is and there is nothing in sight. I head out the garage door to get in the Jeep and go find her.

She offered to drive.

Apparently getting in is easier than getting out.

I somewhat enjoyed Terra Nova, but the acting was total crap.  The storyline was kind of all over the place, but it had a lot of potential. Sometimes I enjoy watching a show that doesn't require me to think an this was perfect.

What killed me was a few years ago when ABC pulled Flash Forward and NBC pulled Life.  I loved those shows.

Thought the fact that Darrell stepped up to put Dale out of his misery made a powerful statement that he was back in with the group.

Agreed.  I also wonder if Darrell knows that Rick has a "problem" killing when he's not directly threatened.  Consider it the cop in him.  I wonder if Darrell was telling Rick in a roundabout way that he was okay with taking on the burden of putting Dale out of his misery.  I don't recall Darrell being particularly angry with Rick for not popping Randal when his son showed up.  Maybe he wants Rick to be a good example of a dad because he didn't have one.

I think Herschel said in the preview for next the creek was drying up.

This sucks something terrible.

I can remember as a kid digging through magazines with Star Wars articles and his artwork was always predominantly featured.  That's one of the things I think about when I think of Star Wars.

I caught part of the movie once and all I can say was WTF???!!!!  Granted, I came in during the last 20 or 30 minutes of the movie, but it just seemed to me it might be something better viewed during an acid trip.  I'm not going to say if I liked it or not, simply because I didn't see the entire thing and therefore didn't have a good frame of reference for the why the movie seemed so odd.

I found it on Youtube: The Monkees: Head

I think I remember lamps being on, so that would lend itself to operating on a generator.

Davy Jones dying sucks.  I've always been a pretty big fan of the Monkees.  Several years ago my wife bought me their box CD set.  I remember watching them in the afternoons in the mid 80's, first on some local channel out of Lubbock, TX and then on Nickelodeon.

I can get on board with that.  Robots kicking robot ass...what can be wrong with that?

I know a lot of people don't care too much for Bay.  I love explosions and action, so bring it on.  He makes great Saturday afternoon action flicks.

Rick was more of a man for putting Sophia down than Shane could ever hope to be.

I think this is key.  For the sake of the group, and Rick as their "leader," it was probably best that he was the one to pull the trigger on Sophia.

Great episode last night.  I was waiting for Rick's pair to drop and I certainly think they did.  I was thinking he'd swing in Shane's direction, while at the same time, I think we also saw Shane come back towards Rick a little bit.

One person that drives me crazy is freakin' Dale.  That dude is like a middle school girl who wants to start drama.  It's like being at work when I'm watching him on TV.  I grant that he's a voice of reason, but seriously dude....

It's back tonight! Team Shane versus Team Rick? Who will you follow?!?!

Funny that you put it this way.

I think Rick is going to be pulled Shane's direction, pretty drastically.  But at the same time, I think Shane is going to mellow a bit and become a bit more compassionate...maybe not much, but some.

Bill, I've felt the story has been a bit slow, but little bits and pieces of interesting stuff seems to get thrown in each episode.  The mid-season finale  ::) was really good and was somewhat of a cliffhanger to the second half.  The second half is really supposed to push the story along IIRC.
