I need somebody who can do this for me. Can anyone do this and if so, can I see pics of the result? I need my captain typho head, which is a peg jointed head, to be fully articulated as a ball-jointed one for a custom. Can someone do this for me or give me a tutorial on it if it isn't very hard?

Modern Trading / Wanting to trade a helmet for a helmet
« on: October 29, 2005, 01:12 AM »
I was wondering, since most people prefer the ROTS helmets to the AOTC helmets, and I really like the AOTC helmets,  Does anyone wanna trade?

I have an AT-TE tank gunner removable helmet that I would LOVE to trade for a DELIXE SAGA AOTC biker clone helmet (NOT the evo AOTC helmet. the SAGA removable one).

All I need is one Red EE clone. It can be a battle damaged paint scheme or clean paint scheme, it matters not, so long as it's red! Please help and PM me if you have one for sale!

Star Wars Action Figures / Sweet SA boba fett-NOT MINE
« on: August 1, 2005, 04:58 AM »
On another forum, A member named "Steel Bonnet" came up with a way to use GI Joe leg and pelvis parts and put them on his VOTC boba fett so that it could be more poseable. I would LOVE to do something like this, but I wouldn't know where to start. I'm asking him how he did it exactly cause the pictures ho took aren't quite clear; and does anyone know what Joe figure he used (or if it matters at all?)

Hi all,

Another of my projects l`ve mentioned to some of you here

Finally showing off the simple & effective way to turn the VOTC Fett into the UBER Posable Boba Fett.

Photo`s first.......

VOTC Fett or is it???

Closer look at his groin area (oooh errr missus)

Helm off

Well as you can see he has the inner thigh ball section of a Joe. I found a grey set that were close to the VOTC Fett & then reworked the upper area to fit the ball inner thigh into. Then l cut the slit for the arm of both thigh balls.

The wrists & helmet & cloak are off the 300th Edition Boba. The hands are off the VOTC Fett & he`s made so he can switch forearm pods.

The head is a clone though shaved,as l see Boba Fett as someone who doesn`t really remove his helmet & all that wear is a bugger on hair.
the neck cloth is actual cloth so it creases when turned & holds.
Adds that little bit more l think.
Still working on his backpack,so that`ll be up soon.

Whoo, I've been on Jedidefender's Customizing forums for a while without even posting some of my customs! Well, after much procrastination, here are some:

Nikto Jedi

Super-duper articulated Clonetrooper

Since everyone's done one, I figured I'd do one, except I have no dremel, so I shaved the Tank Gunner's pelvis into two pegs that would fit into the SA clonetrooper's pelvis pegholes. It was easy but took time. I really love the end result:

This is my late submission for Chewie's Smuggler Challenge: Balosar Spacer/Smuggler  Fenn Sleazebaggano. He's a relative of Elan Sleazebaggano, the low-life at the Outlnader club who tried to sell Obi-Wan some deathsticks. Incidentally, Fenn is Elan's Drug smuggler, among other odd jobs.

Does anyone know how to prevent clone and stormtrooper action figures from yellowing? Is it possible to achieve a constant state of pearly whiteness? I'm getting my clone 4-packs by the end of the week and I'm wondering because I know for sure that in only a few years, my clones will indeed yellow in colour.

Photonovels and Movies / Photonovel story pitches
« on: May 20, 2005, 07:16 PM »
Does anyone have a concept or a pitch they'd like to share with the rest of us about a photonovel they're working on? Anyone have any juicy stories about any or everything star wars they'd like to share? Anyone?

Well, I'll start. I'm working on a potential photonovel I call "Mandalore sa ka'rta" (which translates to "heart of the mandalore"), which follows the life of an ARC trooper named Spar as he battles as a republic ARC trooper and discovers his destiny as a soldier lies elsewhere as, strangely, he experiences the memories of his training sargeant and template of existence, Jango Fett. Long story short, it's going to be a photonovel of the reformation of the Mandalorian mercenary army during/after the Clone Wars.

Star Wars Action Figures / Jaster Mereel - Work in Progress
« on: May 14, 2005, 10:36 AM »
Well, since I love seeing figures come together from scratch/different figure parts, I'd figure that I'd start one of these myself. Plus, this thread isn't about a clone! I aim to please, Master_Phurby

I've long wanted to do this: a custom of Jaster Mereel; Jango Fett's mentor, Father figure, and all around mandalorian bad@$$ (Yes, I love mandalorians).

For those of you who don't know who jaster is, here are some pics.

The recipe I plan on using for good ol' Jaster is the following:

left and right forearms: 300th figure Boba Fett
Legs: SAGA Pilot Jango Fett
Torso, pelvis, upper arms, head: VOTC Boba Fett.

For the head, I may hollow out the 300th Boba fett head and use that, but I'm not too confident in my dremel skills yet, so I may not do that, as I need more practice with the dremel.

I don't have any extras of those figures to use for the actual custom yet (cept save maybe the 300th fett), but will be acquiring them soon. I wanted to see how the colours would come out, so I just finished painting some jango fodder to give me an idea on how the finished product would look like.

I mixed some paints to get these colours and I think they turned out pretty well. Keep in mind, these aren't the actual parts that are going to be used. These are only to give you an idea of what's to come.

(The finished product will certainly be less sloppy in paint execution. I just painted these quickly to give an idea of what it'd look like and I love how the colours turned out.)

New member here, Hi all! I come with a gift, read on!

I recently went on a camping trip for school, and We stopped by MacMillan National Park, the Forest where they filmed part of Return Of The Jedi. You know what this means? I got to visit THE FOREST MOON OF ENDOR! And you know what it means for you people with fancy displays? I'm giving the customizing community a gift: pictures of the forest for a backdrop of custom dioramas. ENJOY!
