i'm back from the Star Wars exhibition in Paris
i was angry at my GF who removed the batteries from our digicam (i only realized that when i was inside the exhibition)
hopefully my best friend had brough his, so i'll post pics next week when he's able to send me the pics.
It was a very nice exhibition the visit takes from planet to planet and shows costumes, props, models, storyboards.
Since it is taking place in a science museum lots of panels and animations are about science in SW. Which is kinda cool
The disappointing yet foreseeable fact is that there ain't much stuff about ANH
1st room - tatooine (TPM) : Watto and Qui-Gon Jinn focus, podracer cockpits, podracer tribunes models
2nd room - Naboo (TPM) : Padme's costumes, mechno chair prop; Darth Maul's costume
3rd room - Coruscant - Kamino (AOTC) : Jango Fett and Senate Guard (ROTS) 's costumes ; Jedi busts from the archives (Yoda and Dooku)
4th room - Geonosis, Kashyyyk and Utapau
5th room - Mustafar : Anakin's costume
6th room - Death Star (ANH and ROTJ) : Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Imperial commander, Imperial Royal Guard's costumes. Cool props form ANH : turbolaser turret models and mouse droid prop.
7th room - Hoth and Dagobah :
* cool interactive feature allowing you to lift with the force an X-Wing in a Dagobah swamp (thanks to a cool hidden sensor)
* Yoda puppet
* Storyboards and prodcustion sketches
8th room - Tatooine (ROTJ) :
*nice feature simulating the vew over the sarlaac from jabba's barge,
*masks and models of jabba's palace denizens (barada, ishi tib ...)
*Costumes (Weequay, leia slave, boussh)
9th room - Endor (ROTJ) :
* Ewok costume
* drawings
* blue screen set
