I‘m generally happy with these pipeline announcements! Hasbro seems to be listening to the community, and they're getting a reasonably good spread on characters from a number of new media series.
Indara & Yord Fandar - Excellent choices from The Acolyte. Carrie Ann Moss was amazing as a Jedi Master. I was concerned after the events of the first episode, but seeing how the series was not afraid to use flashbacks as a storytelling device, it was good to see her character develop. And Yord was a solid Jedi who also served as a strong storytelling device. Personally? I would have loved to see both Kelnacca and the Stranger revealed in the TVC pipelines. I'm hopeful that Kelnacca will come in the near future since the digital assets for him are being used for The Black Series. And I suspect that the Stranger was made off limits by Lucasfilm, so give it time for him.
Dedra Meero - I'm very happy to see a pick from my March Madness list get crossed off. She's such a fantastically realized character, and not a one dimensional villain! I see some potential for Hasbro to re-use a female Imperial officer buck for several figures, but Dedra Meero was definitely the most deserving of those Imperials that we've seen in the Disney+ series so far.
Obi-Wan Kenobi - Jedi Legend - YES! Despite this particular look for OWK being very brief, I thought that it was an excellent way to cap the OWK series. And I hope this Jedi buck can be put to good use on future releases. Now as for Leia, Owen, Luke and Force Spirit Qui-Gon...
Clone Lieutenant & Mauldalorian - These are probably the ones that I'm the least enthusiastic about, but I can appreciate their inclusion. Sales of figures like these help to offset the cost of all new sculpted figures. The new Clone Trooper buck is going to get re-used. Putting it to good use with on screen appearances is a good start. As for the Mauldalorian? I'm hoping this one has some different deco from VC246.
Baylan Skoll & Shin Hati - I am very glad that Hasbro didn't sleep on these. I suspect that they were possibly restricted from addressing them by Lucasfilm - spoiler protections, most likely. And I'm glad to see that Hasbro announced them both at the same time. And I sincerely hope that the TVC versions of them are correctly proportioned, unlike the Black Series versions.
