Damn this sucks… I think I’m still going to just hold out hope that this will drive prices down to get the figure for say, less than $100, and skip the vehicle.  There are a few on eBay hitting $200 or best offer… maybe there’s hope.

I am two weeks away from my trip to Orlando...I really wonder if there might be some lingering that far out.

From the numbers on the cases I saw it looks like they had 1150 of the 3000 set aside for WDW. It is crazy that how they broke it out, online got the smallest allocation.

Well, if anyone wants to ship me one or subsidize their ship purchase by selling me the droid. Let me know!

If these are still available when I'm in WDW in a few weeks?  I might buy another.  But I'm shocked that there's still a fair amount available.

Well, I just bought an RX-24, found a seller who took $145 for it.  Thats’s still too much but is less than half of where we started.

They’ll be widely available before you know it.  You’re welcome everyone.

(In all seriousness I might leave it carded for a few months to see how it shakes out… resell the limited edition one if he’s released in another format).

Wow, I am surprised they sold you the carded sample that comes with the set, that is the only piece of the set with the limited edition number on it from what I've heard...that's something I would have a hard time justifying taking off the card. I agree you might want to hold out to see if that figure comes out some other way in the next year or so before freeing him from the packaging.

Yeah, with this whole every-figure-ever-made collection thing I have going, I’m not beyond opening one.  But it would be great not to have to.

I'd leave it carded since they are numbered.  There's a bagged Rex that comes in the box with the Speeder as well.  I hope the folks at Hasbro are taking notes for future Haslabs!
This is the way.

I have spoken.

I’d heard that but oddly enough haven’t seen any of those on eBay.  I wonder if something about my search is keeping me from finding them or if people just aren’t selling the inexpensive ones.

I do see one loose one up there right now but they are asking $230 for it.
