Anyone else catch the series premiere of
Carnivale
on HBO? I watched it this evening, and it is a very interesting show, and it looks like its set up for a very compelling series. A new episode will be on Sunday, September 21.
It has almost a David Lynch feel to it, but that could also be because of
Michael J Anderson
So, anyone?

I thought the premiere was fantastic, I'm so excited about this show. And yeah, I caught a huge Lynch vibe to the whole thing.

The whole coughing coins bit was fantastic, probably my favorite part.
Cant wait for a new episode! This will go into my weekly "must watch" list

I did and it was spectacular, HBO rules when it comes to TV right now and it is not even close

The first episode was a little boring, I know that they had to introduce characters and such. The second episode was better. I think that this could turn out to be a good series.

I love the show. I seriously wonder if David Lynch may have ghost written for the series, because the whole thing just exudes a feeling of Twin Peaks (as well as other Lynchy goodness) meets the carnival circuit. If Samson (Michael J Anderson) starts speaking backwards, Im going to flip out.
The fetus in the jar was a nice touch
