Chris,I talked to the seller and he sold me a patent without frame for $9.95.I have a frame I think will look better and blend in with my character focus more so than the brown one.
I talked to John A. about this and he sent me a link to the US Patent office.

He told me it is cheaper going through them as they will send you a .pdf file for around $3.Thats good if you can print it yourself.So thats another option.
I find it interesting that not all characters have patents available.I wonder why that is.Here is an Archive link about them for anyone interested.
