I totally agree Lenny. Our search engine
REALLY sucks here. I've done a number of searches for stuff that is verbatim per the subject titles I'm looking for, or a portion of the text from an old post, and I often come up with
absolutely nothing.
However, I've found that if you use the "
Advanced Search" feature, and click the "
Match any words" in that second drop down box, you'll often find what you're looking for. Also, don't forget to increase the number of days in the "
Max Age since last post:" box at the bottom of the page too, or you'll only search the last two months worth of stuff. No idea if we can change the search engine, or if it's the only one that's available with this particular forum software.
I'll see if I can get the boss to look into it though...
