Clone Wars Maquettes Obi-Wan

Obi-wan is going to be 9" tall and he is up for pre-order at AFX for $69.99.
Pretty aswesome piece and I will be picking this one up for sure.  I'll post a link to AFX below as that is where I got the info from.

My Obi-wan maquette just shipped from EE!!  I'll post some pictures as soon as it arrives.  Three down and two to go!! :D

I've loaded the images and made a new folder of just my Maquettes to date.  You need to click on the bottom folder labeled (appropriately) "Maquettes".

Webshots

Awesome piece.  The saber slides in to the handle and is a very light blue.  The detailing of the armor and the cape (wrinkles and such) are fantastic.  The face sculpt is better than the photo's and I am officially hooked on Gentle Giant stuff.  I can't wait for the final two pieces.  After Christmas, this set is making it's way upstairs to the prime spot that was once only reserved for Master Replica stuff :).

On a more related note, that maquette sounds pretty cool, and very tempting.  But I'm trying hard to stay away from non-OT stuff, at least in the high-end collectibles market.

But if Hasbro makes a 4" version for the animated CW line, I'm all over it!   ;)
