Well, I named my photonovel project (both overall story and chapter 1) and I added two more preview pics in my Photonovel thread.  I think these will be my last update pictures.  This project has taken much much longer than I expected.  Hopefully I can have a full chapter put up over the next 2 weeks but we'll have to wait and see.   I don't want to reveal too much more without going into the story.

Starting to jump on the bandwagon 

So far I plan on following one clone of the GAR. I want it to be a little less star wars and a little more showing the "grit" of war. Picture a sort of star wars version of Band of Brothers. The story will take place in a few days before the Phase 2 armor switch, and follow the soldier as he is shaped by experiences.
So far i'm working on effects and seeing as how i dont have a good photoshop (or money to get one) i'm being forced to improvise a bit. Here is a kind of test shot for what i'll doing to create the "laser" effects. I think it turns out well.

As a fan of just about every photonovel series on this board I look forward to seeing yours as well. The concept sounds very solid. Cant wait to read it.

ACtually, I just had an idea i thought I'd throw out to all of the PN makers out there.

Have any of you given any thought to doin a comic book style crossover?

You know like having Rykroff apperar in K.O.E. or having  In Rems, Mon Cal jedi  appear in Dark Illusions, and just tie it all into one big plot thread that ran in between the other stories. Where you would have to read both or all of those particular stories to get the entire picture. It could be something to the effect of what D.C. is doing with "Infinate Crisis".

Its probably not possible but its something I would like to see. But Im a BIG comic geek so naturally crossovers are my thing.

Its just a thought.

I have actually thought about that. Having someone make a photonovel and somehow effect or cross paths with rykroff. or having some kind of references about other photonovels. I'll definitely do a fair amount of "nods" in my photonovel.

I will finish writing the dialouge tonight, and uploading the pics over the next couple of days. Hopefully by the end of the week, Ill have my much delayed PN up.

BUT, when I do post it and everyone reads it. I want you to be honest, if it sucks, say it sucks. Dont sugar coat it.

DE, lookin forward to seeing it.  As I can now attest to.  Writing the dialog is the worst part of the whole experience.  Yuck.  Too bad that is one of the most important parts.

Thanks for the shout out BrentS. Now that Ive learned for my mistakes it hopefully wont take as long for chapter 2. I may be resuming photography tonight. It should only take 4 days to put the dialouge up on this one.
