I have to jump in and defend my kubrick pimp  ;) .

Most of my imperial army is comtech troopers, with a smattering of officers from various years. But when I first started building up, it was the sandtroopers that got me started. They had a unique sculpt, unlike any figure before, and I believe may have been the first that used both hands on the weapon at the same time. I had to have a dozen of them blasting at the falcon in docking bay 94 as she lifted off. They weren't perfect, but you could get a half dozen different poses out of them that looked decent in poor lighting.

But that dewback.....(shudder)

I hope they find it in their hearts to do that poor beast some justice some day.

What's wrong with the Dewback?

My only complaint would be the paint - other than that, I think it looks good...

I like the Dewback too, nothing wrong with it in my opinion.  I'd like to see them make some all new stuff before revisiting that.

My complaint with the dewback was more about pose and play than the sculpt. It is so heavy up front that it collapses the front legs. While the sculpt of the pose is good, I tend to favor "at ease" or standing poses. Plus the vintage one has a cute factor (baby dino look) that they will probably never recapture. unless Kubrick made a dewback somehow. That would rock out loud.
