My last two packages have been MIA for a week now, but it sounds like one finally arrived today.  Hopefully the last guy doesn't flake out on me though, 'cause I wanna complete this bad boy!

Anyway, WOTC updated today with another Clone Strike figure, for your viewing pleasure - the Weequay mercenary:



Now stuff like this has the cross over potential into the OT line.  Hmm...   I may need to get a few Clone Strike figures after all...

Interesting.  I think this may be a CHEAP auction for a complete set, with 10 extra VRs to boot.  But I'd probably verify that with the seller first, to make sure it's not just the 10 VRs he's selling.  Either way, it's pretty damned cheap!

Just a heads up, the DeAgostini publication with minis should be out in about a week and a half or so. I'll post a review when mine arrives!

Seriously though, I haven't decided what I want to do about those things yet.  Adam, have you figured out yet if this subscription thing is just for the Rebel Storm series, or does it roll forward into the Clone Strike sets as well?  And does it really give you one of each figure (that I already have)?

Hmm...  Don't know what to do here.

BeJedi.com just got the first UK exclusive DeAgostini Battle Games issue/package...



Thought that Stormie was an exclusive for a minute, based on WOTC's visual checklist, which is screwed up and missing this Stormtrooper, but duplicating the picture of another one, just from two different angles.

Anyway, after looking over the freebiees from DeAgostini, the only one that really interests me is the storage case.  Other than that, the dioramas looked cool, but I had pretty much decided that these were going to be way too much of a hassle to deal with, due to the UK exclusivity bull****.

So after over 3 weeks of waiting for a slow poke trader, I finally got my Jedi Luke mini figure yesterday to complete my set!  Managed to do it with just 21 boosters, a starter, and whole lotta trading...   

Unfortunately though, now the fun is over since I don't plan on buying the Prequel figures in the upcoming Clone Strike and (sure to be) ROTS sets.  Might nab a few of the EU figures from them though, like the Weequay, but those should just be commons and uncommons and not too tough to come by.

Just gotta wait now in hopes of WOTC putting out another OT based set, hopefully in the not so distant future...
