T.O. is out for the year. He broke a bone in his ankle. They'll try and bring him back for the Super Bowl...IF they make it. Looks like a 4th straight year of Philly ALMOST going to the promised land...heh heh.

Atlanta
Green Bay
Minnesota
Seattle/Saint Louis/Carolina/New Orleans

GB, Seattle and Minnesota all have the offense but even without TO all three Defenses have no chance

I like Atlanta I guess but Vick would drive me nuts if I were a Falcons Fan.  Their D is decent though which is why they are the #2 team

Carolina is a team on the rise as well, I love their D and they have really turned it around.  I would not be surprised to see them playing in the NFC Championship again

The thing with Philly is their D is still awesome, it can still shut down GB, MN, Seattle or Saint Louis...Atlanta having to travel to Philly would be an underdog.  I still think Philly are the favorites but its a lot tighter today than it was on Saturday

Actually, yeah. Any one of those teams can take them now. All they have to do is stack the line of scrimmage to stop the Westbrook. They have no other good receivers, even their 3rd receiver is playing on a bum knee. Philly is a one dimensional offense now. McNabb to Westbrook. It will be easy to gameplan against that offense in the playoffs. They are a carbon copy of the team that lost the NFC Championship the last 3 seasons. They may make there again, but not to the Super Bowl.

I think somehow T.O. helped get the Choke out of Philly and if he is done for the playoffs, they might get caught.

I do think it is funny that every report I've read online about his injury says he won't be back until the Super Bowl (as if it was pre-determined they were getting thier chance to go this year)...if the players start believing that then they are gonna get surprised.

Alrighty then, barring any major injuries tonight, here goes

AFC East: New England Patriots
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs
AFC Wild Card #1: New York Jets
AFC Wild Card #2: Cincinnati Bengals
AFC Championship: Indianapolis beats New England

Now, Tennessee and Denver I think also have legitimate shots at both the Wild Card and their Division Titles, its just the Jets and Bengals play in an easier division, plus the Jets get to play SF and ARI.  New England and the Colts should be the two best teams, and I think the Colts are going to find a way to get homefield.  Should be a great year in the much more competitive AFC

NFC Wild Card #1: Washington Redskins
NFC Wild Card #2: Green Bay Packers

Two most overrated teams in football are the Saint Louis Rams and the Green Bay Packers this year.  I've seen them both ranked in the top 10 in a lot of preseason rankings and I think that is total B.S.  They have both gotten worse over last year and Mike Martz is still the head coach of the Rams.  The NFC South is definitely the most competitive division in Football and could easily see both Wild Cards or all 4 teams challenge for the Division spot in the playoffs.  Its possible Dallas and Detroit are contending for that last Playoff spot but I don't think its gonna happen

As far as my team, the Purple and Gold, The Vikings are on the right track but they have a lot of young talent that needs one more year to come together on D.  This is Philly's year finally, they signed the big free agents and they are poised to go deep.  Home field will be huge as always  and so are injuries, everything could change in the breaking of Peyton Manning's leg in Week 1

I'm looking pretty good right now with my picks.  A little off in the AFC.  I don't think anyone picked SD though and Pittsburgh is a bit of a Surprise.  NFC is close, Washington got no Offense and I think the Vikes will win tomorrow sewing that one up too.  Leaving just one wrong there

And Plaxico Burress' house was broke into while he was at  the game, and one of the suspects was armed I guess...  I guess they were caught as well, but took $65k worth of jewelery alone, among many other things.

Just glad to see my Rams somehow squeeked in there!  The Pack's looking pretty good too, so hopefully one of those two will make me happy (and somewhat surprised) and come out of the NFC.

VikeQueens definitely steamrolled into the playoffs too.  Nice work there, Minnesota.   

But damn, if some of those AFC teams haven't been playing outta their skulls all year!  15-1 for the Steelers?!  They're gonna be tough, but the Pats still have to be considered the favorites out there.  Colts will make some noise, and I'd love to see Peyton get the playoff monkey off his back.  Chargers overachieved all year, so I'd be really surprised to see them continue on with that very far in the playoffs.

Can't seem to find my Raiders in the mix anywhere though.  Anyone know where they disappeared too?

Obviously, I'm not picking against my team in the AFC Championship.  Philly, even without TO, is still the best in the NFC.  Although two lackluster wins against Washington and Dallas and two losses resting their starters, who should play to avoid the rust, to end the season doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Super Bowl:
NE over Philly, but would be happy the other way (my two favorite teams)
