Oh I didn't realise that Evenflow is acutally Daniel, a guy I've had a deal with in the past. He's got a nice collection started already. Everybody this is Daniel. Daniel this is everybody.

That's a good idea Simon...I believe the following:

1.  He was sold 5 R2 Kubricks at a pretty good price
2.  He BIN sold them for a reasonable profit before they were in hand
3.  When he got them the condition was not too good
4a.  He returned them from whence they came and since they are much more limited right now he can't get anymore
4b. He sold them for more than what we paid and is looking for cheaper replacements
4c. He sold them for more than what we paid and is willing to risk the negative feedback

Being his Feedback is spotless I can really believe its 4a...

And welcome to JD.com evenflow!  I'm around SSG from time to time and keep checking you're guys Kubrick thread to see if I can help ;)

Welcome to JD evenflow.  :)

You can post feedback up to 90 days but I have heard that you can post it way longer. I think it was up to a yr. or more, I'll have to dig up the thread on RS on that.

Good posts Scott, 4a seems to be the top runner thus far.

Found the thread. Though it does say on eBay, "Feedback can be left for at least 90 days following a transaction". Not sure if that was there when the thread was made, could have changed over time.  :-\

Topic: Question: Can you leave feedback for someone after 90 days?

Let me tell you that there are very few Carded R2's for sale in Japan right now and that the ones that are, are selling for over US$130.

Thats putting it about right Simon. On eBay, looks like the going rate is $150 to $180.

 ;DINDY ;D

And talk about your blind luck.  BBTS did exactly as they indicated, declared actual value for customs purposes.  But.... some joker misread the label and read it as $39.99 rather than $129.99.  Whoo-hoo! That saved me nearly $16 in customs fees.  And for once I'm glad they didn't open the package, even though the charged the $5.00 inspection fee, because the invoice was right on top and deadly accurate.

I'm going to buy a case of beer.

Way to go you lucky bastard! You could have been nailed. ;D  Just like me, I never got charged for my carded Boba Fett! Infact, they never opened it!

Nice to see good things happen for a change.  8)

Ya better make that a case of Guinness!  ;)  :-*

Actually, that's twice now on Kubrick's, isn't it?  I/you/we never got charged on that early bird set you hooked me up with either.  Whoo-hoo!

On the dark side, that is the third package in a row they nailed me on, so I'm back on the high priority list again.  With packages coming from Beth, Scott and Jim again, I am fearful of the post office.

Way to go on the Indy Brent!   8)  So I trust we can all finally stop singing that Beethoven's Fifth song now?!   :P

And a big Kubrick (and JediDefender) welcome to Daniel too!  Nice to have you join us here.  Some seriously psychotic Kubrick collectors in this forum!  We've got another Kubrick thread in our Other Toy Lines forum too, if you by chance collect non-Star Wars Kubricks as well.

As for Series 3, not a damned peep of news on it yet, and it's starting to drive us somewhat bonkers.  Now we're unfortunately left discussing unscrupulous Droids R2 eBay dealers for the moment...   :-\  That is, until Simon can reignite our fires with some Endor sets in a few weeks!   8)

Enjoy the site Daniel, and feel free to give us a holler if you've got any questions or comments about anything.  We're here to serve!

- Matt

I just noticed that the Medicom Site has been updated on the 24th of each month the last two months (Muppets, Batman and Marvel 3) so maybe they are waiting until 4/24 :-*

Brilliant work Sherlock.

How 'bout you check back in with us on the 24th next month with some REAL news then!   :-*

- Scooby Doo

BTW, I heard back from the fella that Bob (Stormie) mentioned with some of the bootleg sets, and all he's got in stock right now is the Boba Fett with tin.  No Death Star Escape 3-pack, and no Biker Scout.  Bummer!   :-\

Can't wait for that Endor set.   ;D

Marvel 3 looks great, so that was enough news to tide me over a few weeks.  My only wish for series 3 is Darth Vader.  I am sure I will be happy with whoever is in it, but Darth is a must.
