Those KOTCS look excellent. The Soviets look top notch, and Indy w/ RPG is great. Mutt seems a little younger than he should be though. I thought he was supposed to be like 20? The figure makes him look like a 10 year old.

Heh.

I was thinking how her hair did look very helmet-ish.  I was really comparing it more to Frankie from Frankie & Annette movies in the 50's/60's though.  Lots of hairspray.

1:18 guys should love the Russians though, those are a first...  The bike's still good too Paul, and I agree that sometimes I think they misjudge accuracy themselves as a group.  The bike's $10 though, so why complain?  It probably has some imperfections on accuracy, but I bet it's not too far off either...  I'm excited for the line at this point, and not buying Clone Wars crap means I can enjoy this line a bit more I think.  Definitely doing some army building.

What's up with the jacket Indy with knee articulation figures having crap faces. I'm praying the finals don't look like those.

Loving it, I'll be sure to pick up the SA OT Indy and all of the KOTCS figs. Some of the headsculpts though... yikes.

I second the comments about the Shia LaBeoff figure. It's accurate... for a figure of him based off of his Disney Channel days. He also looks to have the scale of TPM Anakin and AOTC Boba Fett. Hopefully it's just the pictures and they'll give him the stubble and a reasonable height.

The Truck looks Awesome, the "Squad Car" is very neat looking.

German 2 Pack is interesting and Movie Accurate.

The Russians look neat, but what is the time period of the new movie?  The weapons seem a bit "Modern" unless Indy was frozen in time for 30 years or so.

I agree that female in Gray looks like a DST....

The Thugee looks good even if it is my least favorite movie of the 3 current films.

Thuggee's f'n sweet but I hope we get the small regulars too, Mola Ram, bridge Indy and the like.  A cool playset for TOD would be the spiked room Willie has to help him escape from.

Anyway, Paul...  The German car's pretty accurate to the small ATV's of WW2, no?  I think the truck looks OUTSTANDING, and the bike's good for $10.  I'm down for multiples of all 3 at this point to give to my WW2 figures. :)  One of those trucks is definitely gonna go well with an 88 as an ammo truck I think.

BTW, I think I read the KOTCS takes place in 1959-ish, so the AK's would be right but the uniforms would translate (for the most part) back to WW2 still.  Pretty decent stuff then...  Just no guns.  GI Joe's making that PPSH though in a set I guess, and maybe Marauder Inc. will make something too.

Does the horse look too small to anyone else?  Seems the vintage horse was larger and more in scale.  Looking at Jeff's pics the horse in the box looks more like a pony. :-\

The KOCS non-jacket Indy looks good.
Also there's 3 Idol Indy figures on display.

Yeah, the truck loooks great.  That troop car, however, looks really big and out of proportion.  In fcat, I think that it, and the truck, use the same frame.

Thuggee looks awesome.  Hope he comes with his hammer!  Just curious, the Hasbro preentation said 17 figures at launch...but I only cout 16.  Any help would be great.

1. Indy (Jacket)
2. Indy (No jacket)
3. Marion
4. Monkey Man
5. Cairo Swordsman
6. Belloq Ceremonial Outfit
7. Sallah
8. German Soldier

9. Indy KS
10. Mutt w/Jacket
11. Dovchenko
12. Russian Soldier
13. Mutt w/snake
14. Ugha Warrior
15. Cemetary Warrior
16. Agent  Spalko

They're two completely different vehicles...  I think you're maybe confusing some of the Dodge trucks/staff cars used by the US and their allies during the war.

The truck's probably loosely based on an Opel Blitz/3 ton truck...  There were a lot of them produced with some variety to them though, so it's tough for me to nail down exactly which this would be, especially since I don't think they ever actually say when the timeframe is of Raiders...

I think the German truck's a dual rear-axel though, not sure how accurate that is...  There were a lot of trucks the Germans used though, and it's definitely a different frame than the light scout car's sporting.

The car is a German Kzf. 1, light car...  There's a medium and heavy model as well, but significant differences in the body/frames on those.  The light is still a pretty big car, much larger than the German Kubelwaggen which is what a lot of people are confusing it with.  These cars were, I believe, abandoned for the Kubel's as the war progressed, but were kept and used as escorts, staff cars, and scout vehicles due to their rugged nature.  A lot of these saw use in the DAK too, so that's cool and sort of sets up the Indy Germans having them.

This car, I wish they'd make...  This is what Belloq & Co. are riding in when Indy hijacks the truck.  Be sweet to get this ride too.

Oh, I know nothing about military vehicles. ;)  I was commenting that, at first, I thought both TOYS were built on the same frame.  But they are very different.
