I checked out Big Lots today and walked out with an extra Vogel to sell and my second cloth top truck. I have a couple other Big Lotses nearby so hopefully I'll get around to checking those out and maybe finding some TOD stuff. I sure hope so, since it'd be great to have a couple more Thuggees, especially at $4 each. :)

I stopped in our local Big Lots this weekend just to check things out, and they didn't have Indy stuff at all that I could find.  Maybe they are just a little behind, or I just missed them, that store is somewhat of a mess.  No big deal, but I thought I might pick up some extras here and there if they were on the cheap.

One of the Big Lots in my area had a lot of the TLC wave.

3 - Henry Sr.
1 - Vogle
5-6 - Young Indy
5-6 - Indy w/machine Gun
4-5 - Grail Knights

Are you listing TLC wave in addition to the TOD wave, or did you mean the TLC wave?

I managed to track down a Grail Knight at BigLots the other day. I was really hoping to find the TOD wave since I haven't been able to track down anything from that wave just yet. I still haven't seen an Elsa either.

For anyone interested, BBTS has a "pre Black Friday" sale going on until next Tuesday, and all their Indy stuff is 30% off from what I can see.  I don't know if there is much there that interests anyone, but this covers Hasbro, Gentle Giant, etc.

Entertainment Earth has cases of the first (ROTLA) wave for $20 and the Sallah/Short Round Mighty Muggs set for $11.

It goes without saying, but it would be nice if the Temple of Doom wave made it to such a great deal.

Indiana Jones ornaments at Hallmark are 60% off (should be everywhere) this week, and for those of you still wanting to make your Indy displays cooler, the Indy figure is to-scale to the action figures more or less.  He can be pryed off the base with the fertility idol, and so you have a very detailed and nice fertility idol base with an electroplated idol, that plays music, for $7.50.

I bought one and it really nicely replaces the Hasbro set which lacked the crispness of the ornament.

Just my personal opinion but I enjoy it a lot.

All our Hallmark stores won't put these on sale locally as these are considered collectibles.  :'(

No ****?  That sucks.

LMK if you want one, and if I see one I can nab it for you Brent.

Locally ornies tend to get gobbled up as soon as they hit 50%, which is usually the week following Christmas.  I was really hoping to get some others on sale because of the prices but I missed the duel one I wanted, and for some odd reason Robby the Robot was all gone.  WTF?

Anyway PM me if you're wanting one and I'll try to get one for you while I'm out or I'll ask Diane to nab one since she's near the mall and probably there is one or two left there.  They were like $7.50 I think at 60% off.

Well it turns out I was able to get one at 50% off after all ($12 and taxes here).  The rules are apparently that only ornaments that fall into specific "Series" are included in the no sale rule.  Indy didn't meet that criteria, nor did the Trek ornaments and stuff like that.  Star wars ornaments do fit that and the box actually has the word "Series" right on it so you can differentiate.  So Palpatine was there, but not on sale, while I could have bought a tricorder with no problem.  Wacky.  But it was nice to get the Indy ornament.  Thanks for the offer of the assist Jesse.
