I agree Brent, I like the ML line overall too, but I think I'm just getting to the point where I have just about all the characters I
really need. Sure, I'd like to have most or all of them, and if I weren't collecting Star Wars stuff that might be the case, but I've tried to stick to the characters I remember strongly from the comics I read in my childhood (and now, again)...and those have pretty much been covered at this point. The main ones have been anyways. I'd always be down for more Spidey villains (like I said, Kingpin), and other "allies" would be cool too (Mary Jane, Aunt May, J. Jonah Jameson, etc.)...but unfortunately those are probably wishful thinking.
I think a lot of my reason for slowing on this is the sheer amount of Star Wars stuff bombarding us right now. Sure, I don't have to buy it, but I do enjoy collecting it and it just doesn't leave much money or space for other lines. I've been trying to widdle down my "other" stuff, finishing up a small collection of LOTR, and trying to justify slowing down ML collecting as well, and I think that the Star Wars spending has a lot to do with it. If SW slows down a bit in 2006, maybe I can find more of a happy medium between the two. As of now, its basically a couple of ML figures this year, and then some movie figures here and there as well. I often think how easy (aside from chase figure/shipping nonsense) it would probably be for someone who just collecting Marvel Legends figures. 25ish figures a year to hunt for wouldn't be so bad. I guess that is why a part of me wouldn't complain if the Star Wars line scaled back a bit for next year (but improved to VOTC quality across the board). Of course, watch that happen and I'll be "when are we getting something new?"

. I do enjoy the "hunt" somewhat, but I'd be ok if it wasn't quite so difficult sometimes

.
Anyways, back to ML, I agree it is still a nice line though. Like I said, if I had the funds, I'd definitely have more of them. I couldn't imagine having these types of figures when I was growing up reading comics, and like you mentioned before Brent, it is a great way to display your favorite characters from those books. Around here, store wise, Wal-Mart has had them pretty regularly lately...usually selling out pretty quickly, regardless of the characters. TRU has had them now and then, I've seen remnants of 8 and 9 there from time to time (mostly

. I don't know that our Targets even have them now, or at least not many of them.
