Usually 2-fers aren't comped here, but I'll have to give it a go.  The price may get them to cave.  Worth it for Sandtroopers if nothing else.  Thanks Greg, I'll hang onto the ad and try it.

I'm not sure if the TRU ad is the same around the country, but the local ad explicitly states:

2 for 9.99

All Star Wars, Iron Man, Marvel or GI Joe 3.75" Basic Action Figures
4.99 ea.

(Emphasis mine)

Of course it also says you "must buy two for offer".  So having the unit price explicitly mentioned should be enough to quiet that argument, since its not technically a twofer.  They'll probably just fall back on the "The Vintage Line isn't pictures, we only price-match on the specific figures pictured.." line.

My WM said that they only match offers with prices. They will do a 2 for $xx.xx, but not a BOGO deal. It's kinda weird all around... good luck though!

My ad's exactly the same...  In theory, the $4.99 should get you past the argument.

Yep, I picked up two regular figs at TRU for $9.99 and the shelf tags are ONLY on the regular figs, not the vintage ones dagnabit LOL

My Target has Vintage down to $6.  Picked up another piggy, Jedi Luke and a Magna Guard.

That's interesting.  I just bought 2 figures last night at Target, so I may now go for pricematching if this is nationwide.

I haven't seen anything yet on $6 vintage figures at Target, but a local did yesterday.  I'd really like my $2 back on Ani/Vader though.  I really hope they find a middle ground at $7 soonish.  We're getting less product then past years and we're paying more again.  No gooda!

TRU 2 day sale  has BP's for $19.99 and deluxe sets for $12.99

edit:  in the ad scan the prices look to be flip-flopped.  Wonder if you could get a BP price matched at Target or Walmart for $12.99

Really?! Amazing! TCW line has been getting all the marked-down prices, it's about time TVC gets the same love, too. Hopefully any remaining Wave 1 figures will clear soon, especially since the ROTJ and AOTC wave figures will probably be sharing the shelves together soon.

Got a price adjustment this morning on my Ani/Vader and picked up an extra Piggy.  HOPE I can still find the few w1 figs that I've been passing on all this time.

I knew that big dude would be "free" at some point, but I didn't think it'd take this long.  Signage is also up at my local TRU.
