I hope I'm wrong, but doesn't it seem as though Ayy Vida is a repaint of
Shakka from Watto's Box
?

I was actually wondering that as well. It could be. If so we'll hear some mighty negative comments.

Some cool pics. These were released a while back from some Japanese magazine. These pics are alot clearer. I just wish the Hoth Trooper was not so similar to the POTF2 version. Also, whats up with the head sculpt on him?

Thanks for the tip Jimmy...nothing new, just some great new pics, love Rieekan, Wampa and Luke! Looks like they announced another R2
C-3PO - Features an escape pod that can fit him and R2-D2 (sold separately). Available around the end of 2003/beginning of 2004.

Nice to see some higher quality pics of these figures. I can't wait to (hopefully) find these. These are the types of figures that really keep me excited about the line, nice mix of OT, primary/secondary characters, great sculpts, and main characters with good articulation from the looks of it! Late this year and 2004 could be great time for us collectors

I am in hot, sweaty love with all of those figures.
Now
this
is Star Wars figure collecting. Not an action feature in sight. Dig that escape pod! These are what deluxe figures are all about. I think I need to go take a cold shower now...
