But what was more interesting was that Hasbro is supposedly watching the sales closely on the CW three packs. Some talk is if these are enough of a hit they could spawn off into Classic territory.
Well, if this is true, hopefully Hasbro will look at the sales of the Clonetrooper, Jedi, and Separatist Droid 3-packs, and
NOT at the massive overabundance of those damned Destroyer Droid Launcher 3-packs. Hasbro should just chalk that one up to their own incredible stupidy as far as case breakdowns go!
I've seen TONS of these at all my local stores, yet NONE of the other 3 sets!
I would absolutely LOVE some classic trilogy sets like this. It's something that Hasbro should've done a LONG, LONG time ago. Sure-fire seller!
As for other future waves, now that we've got that great R1 droid on the way, I'd love to see a
Purchase of the Droids themed wave, complete with a newly sculpted Uncle Owen, R5-D4, and Jawa, along with the LIN Mining droid, and the orange Treadwell droid with all the arms. What a great diorama that will eventually make when Hasbro gets with the program and hooks us up with that Sandcrawler already!!
Obviously a Cantina themed wave is a total no-brainer as far as what we'd all love to see. Hem Dazon, Bom Vimdin, Gotal, Dannik, Brainiac, Givins, etc.
The possibilities are endless. Just make them all!
