One other element I loved at the end of episode 12 was when Major Partagaz was listening to the rebel manifesto, discussing its spread with the other ISB officer, and then he ended it all.

This was a brilliant scene.
This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full, and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes, and dark within

I also wondered what happened to the Yavinian doodars that seemed to prey on the Rebels in the first couple episodes of the show...  It seemed like once more Rebels settled, there was no mention of them... just could have had a warning "don't venture out after dark" kind of thing.  Small things, but I agree with Jeff, A+

They were another rebel faction.  I assume that they died on Yavin IV due to their complete lack of survival skills.

Honestly, I'm still not sure how the Rebel Alliance won in the end.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Was out of town last night and just caught up…absolute perfection. I don’t think I could have imagined a better ending if I tried.

Kleya has truly become my favorite character in all of Star Wars I think. Was really not expecting her to survive but so happy that she did. Great performance by that actress throughout the whole series but especially in these last three episodes. 👏

I'm not hardcore in my non-movie knowledge, but do we know what organization Luthen was with when he was in the military when he picked up Kleya?  I didn't seem to be Old Republic or Imperial, but I may have missed whatever reference was given.

The official site says "Mudtrooper uniforms, last seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story, were remade from scratch by Michael Wilkinson’s costume department for Andor Season 2’s flashback sequence."

I guess that means he was an Imperial Army mudtrooper sgt.

Another nice touch was to see that B2-EMO didn't get totally left behind.

Much of what I could say has been said already, but man, Andor Season 2 was near perfect in my opinion, especially the last couple of story arcs. It’s so refreshing to see the Star Wars universe imagined as a real place with seriousness and complex and compelling characters. When I finished Episode 12, I immediately brought up Rogue One and watched about the first half hour or so and found that Andor tied perfectly into the movie…

Still as I watch the serious drama playing out across both seasons of Andor, I’m reminded that this show is taking place in the same universe inhabited by Jar Jar Binks and the Ewoks
Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it binds the galaxy together ;D

I think there is room for both - goofy kid oriented stuff and semi-serious Andor-like stuff.   I know Mando and BoBF weren't meant to be serious, but the level of storytelling in Andor is orders of magnitude better than what we're seeing in Ahsoka, Acolyte, Mando, BoBF, etc.  I know some love Filoni, but Andor is a great example of what can happen when you turn over the keys over to someone else who has real skills.

I also love that there were no Jedis, no Nightwitches, no force sensitive anything (other than the force healer that was more of a hero finder), no magic planets with a special force vergance that can create force wielding people, no genetically engineered people with extra powers, no Joseph Campbell samurai or bear/cub mythos, etc.   This was just plain old rebels fighting plain old dictators with kick ass characters in a kick ass story.  Sure there is some Joseph Campbell hero's journey stuff, but there isn't anything supernatural about Cassian and the rebels.

Please, please Lucasfilm make more of this - including things like Rogue Squadron, etc. with non-Jedi on great adventures.

I talked with a friend last night who is now obsessed with the idea that Kleya lived, thrived with the rebellion and kept working intelligence for them.

He thinks we need to re-do Rogue One/Andor with a movie called "Bothans" as the ROTJ DS2 plans prequel and then do a "Kleya" D+ Series as a prequel to that - how Kleya figures out they are building another death star, how the Bothans get involved to steal the plans in "Bothans" movie, how the ISB feeds the Bothans false info as revenge for Andor/Axis (IT'S A TRAP!).

At first I thought he was crazy, but the more I think about it - yeah, I'd watch that.

There are a bunch of somewhat key characters that we don't know their end story that could be reused in an adventure like this.  Kleya.  Vel.  Willmon.  Bix.

If its well told I'd be all for it.

That would be a cool idea about Kleya.  Especially if we can get the quality of writing we had with Andor.  Supposedly Tony Gilman said he was done with Star Wars after this season...

I would be cautiously optimistic but her character is already so perfect I would hate for them to potentially spoil that. Less is more sometimes.
