Tunghori offered up Vedain individually, and that figure promptly sold out.  He's also got Vizam.  I didn't notice if he had Doallyn / Skiff guard / Brock Starsher.

Received my three-pack today.  Vizam and Brock are repacks, but I only had Vizam so it was nice to get the other.  Vedian is great!  Nice detail and paint, he even comes with a small backpack!  My kids think he's ready to start school!

Can someone help me understand the Doallyn / Starsher thing? 

The figures are the same right?  But, are they the same character or not?  They have individual bio pages.  Would it make sense to put one in the palace and one with the barge / skiff?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Doallyn was in the palace with a black body suit (or at least it appears dark due to lighting) and then Brock was on the escort skiff in the white suit (but they both used the same helmet prop).

For a long time people thought it was the same dude, until the LFL story machine created "Brock" at the Sarlaac Pit in order to ret-con the fact that "Brock" dies at the pit of carkoon but "Doallyn" survived and lived happily ever after with Yarna in one of those SWEU-Legends book/stories.

This is the type of stuff I just ignore.  Put one in the palace and one on the escort skiff and don't look back.   

The naming ret-con nonsense from LFL is probably the thing that bugs me most about the "story group" and it's influence on the past.  Baniss Keeg went from being a cool looking cantina alien to being "Chachi del Maal", wife of Ellors Madak "Ohwun de Maal".

Although if the costume really was just a darker jumpsuit, Hasbro missed a perfect opportunity to repaint it for this release.

I never much cared for the particulars on the names or backgrounds of the EU but here's a toast to Baniss Keeg, who remains one of my favorites and perennial resident on my Most Wanted List.

I think the costumes are different on Starsher and Doallyn slightly but yeah, could’ve done Doallyn who kind of has a prominent moment of being shoved down stairs like a punk b.

I never liked all the retconning and stuff either.  Too much nonsense.  There is this hoard of new people who seem to think all the old EU was great and Disney kind of trampling on it is blasphemous, but man old EU was at best 50/50 in terms of quality and I think my assessment is being generous. 😕

If I could "like" a post, this would be it. I think the 50/50 ratio is being generous... most of it was dreck.

Isn't Bane Malar just Doalyn with the wrong helmet? If so, I might just swap the heads with an extra Brock Starsher I got from Tunghori. I thought I read somewhere that Bane Malar doesn't actually show up on screen, but he appears with the Starsher helmet instead.

When I learned that Vedian was a mix of new and old parts, I was a little let down just a little more by the set overall. However, he looks so good driving the skiff that it no longer bothers me in the slightest.
