The figure looks really sharp. I'd be down for a small squad. At old VC prices, I wouldn't have hesitated to say I'd wanted at least 10-20, I love this trooper design... But at $14.99? No thanks, I'm planning on only picking up 2-4 at most. I'll probably on preorder 1, and then see if I ever find this at retail (I won't) before picking up any extras.

Exactly that for me too.  I've typically tried to get 6 of a given troop (more for stormtroopers).  But at $15, it's going to be more like 4.  At some point I'd rather put the dollars elsewhere.

Hopefully they can keep the Trooper Builder 4-pack line less than $45 for 4.  With this new body, there are a plethora of repacks/resculpts they can do (I loved this idea that BanthaSkull had posted a while back - pic below).

I'd be up for recycling this sculpt to give us a Troop Builder 4-Pack for the Imperial Juggernaugt Pilot / Solo Mudtroopers, and then basic carded figures for Mayfeld (Morak) and TVC Mudtrooper Han (GIVE US MORE TVC HAN FIGURES YOU COWARDS #endrant).

If those troop builder packs stay the same price, that's going to be the only way to sustainably army build. That's a great graphic (I love the "Brown Eyes" name  )

It seems like a total no brainer to do those packs. In some other thread I think had proposed something similar. I've loved those packs so far, and feel that even though they are a bit pricey compared to 2010 prices, they feel fairly priced at $40-$45. If that starts creeping up higher though, Hasbro will lose me on multiples of those.

Dear God in Heaven is the captcha system on Hasbro Pulse completely broken.  I had to prove I'm not a robot 50 freakin times!

I ended up pre-ordering 2 of him from Pulse. $6.99 for shipping a shingle figure feels ridiculous after getting so used to free shipping with Amazon Prime, so I ended up adding a second to the cart.

After Dave posted the Amazon link I ended up cancelling my Pulse preorder and saving $10 with Amazon (through the JD affiliate link of course. ) The figure is "only" $13.99 on Amazon.

Awesome, thanks for the code!  Even without it, the figures are only about $15 shipped.  Pretty sure I will want everything else in the case unless they're repacks.  Only two doubles in the case including Din and I'd want two of that one anyway, so this is a big win.
