I really expected to get this by now with Hasbro's request to update our addresses by the first week in Dec.  Normally I'm really patient, but I'm getting impatient on this.

I'm now in the "Received e-mail from Hasbro that my Ghost has left the building but FedEx hasn't updated anything" phase of getting my Haslab Ghost.

I still don’t want mine for one more week.  I called FedEx and they couldn’t put it on hold because they haven’t received it yet.  I guess they don’t do blanket vacation holds like USPS.

I never got any notification of shipment, and saw no updates in the FedEx app about the status of mine.  Yet it got delivered yesterday!  I think it’s possible that you may all be in the same situation.

Signature required right?  So if I’m not there they’ll just keep it or my neighbors will get it I guess…

Yes, they do - vacation hold - you can do it right in the FedEx App too.  I use it all the time when we travel.

Jeff I haven’t tried the app, but the vacation hold page on their website takes me right to a page where I can edit my address and stuff like that but it had no actual options for a vacation hold.  I called their customer service and rep (who presumably wasn’t very good at their job) told me they only hold specific packages and couldn’t do anything for me until there’s a package en route.  It seems crazy but I took them at their word.  I’ll download the app now and see if I have better luck.

Edit:  With the app it took me less than a minute to set a vacation hold, just like you said.  I have no idea what that rep was talking about…

The FedEx app is still showing my ghost shipment with the same status it’s had for at least a week - status of label created with delivery details to be updated soon. Not that I’m in a rush, lol.

Mine is due tomorrow, just tried to set a pickup for Walgreens but didn’t get any kind of email confirmation yet so not sure if it worked or not.

Sounds like all the Minneapolis based crew is getting / already go theirs today.  Mine just landed.

I'm impressed with the double outer packing.  I bet 15 of the 50 pounds is just outer boxes and reinforcing bits for the packaging.
