I just hope my Insider's getting forwarded to my new house in a prompt manner!  Guess I should contact the Fan Club with a change of address, huh?   :P

I still say this thing stinks, though the suped up paint job as evidenced in the picture at 4-inches looks to be much better, as was expected.  Maybe this "new" Jabba would look better in a diorama with my SW Kubrick figures instead...   ::)

curious they didn't bitch about all the other previous scans from Insider such as Unleashed Boba, McQuarrie Trooper, etc. being posted online.  The Jabba will be no different...it will go online...I find it comical that LFL/Hasbro wants us to buy their products but they don't want the fans to help promote it...imagine.

I see this morning that GH has a picture from the "Pre-Toy Fair" catalog, which shows the Jabba in its entirety.  It also offers some info on the line for next year, but nothing really new.  You can check it out here:

Someone at the RS forums posted this new pic of Jabba, which is a little bit clearer, that was originally posted at 4-inches.com...whew.  Anyways, I haven't gotten my Insider yet, so I don't know if this is the same picture or not, thought I'd post if anyone was interested:

I tend to agree with most of the other fans on this item.  It looks pretty nice with the new paint job and all, but it's still going to be to undersized, especially in the "fat" department.  Of course the dais is sorely missed as well, so hopefully Hasbro will find some creative way of sneaking one in to us later on down the line.  Perhaps in a new Jabba's Palace playset someday?  8)  A guy can dream anyway.

I'll buy one of these though!  He can just sit on my vintage dais instead, I guess.

I like the pipe and bowl but I hate his tongue.  I may actually not get this one, and I love all of the Jabba's palace figures.  I still don't think you can beat the Vintage one.

I still like the vinty Jabba myself. The way the stand & pipe/bowl looks though, it may go good with the vinty set. Will have to wait & see.

I haven't seen a picture with him having no tongue.  I actually like the tongue... looks just like him in ROTJ.
