Man, did I ever want to start a thread about this at RS today, but we don't allow em anymore.

Just looking and listening to the guy, I kept thinking...this doesn't seem real. They're hiding the judge (probably for fear of retribution against him) and it seems like people are still treating him with reverence. I was suprised he didn't get charged with contempt (Or whatever the Iraqi version of that is) for talking back.
I kept waiting to see them say "One more outburst, and we're taking your finger off!" but apparently, the democracy we installed over there doesn't play like that.

My prediction is that he is found guilty (of course) and is given a life sentence rather than a death penalty. In the back of my mind, I also think something's going to happen (Bombing, kidnapping, escape, whatever) that is going to turn him into a martyr and make things all the worse off.
