The Spudtrooper never did show up around here, so that was kind of disappointing.  That said, I hope this R2 makes it to retail, I'd like to pick one up.  I wonder if this will be the last of the Star Wars "tater" family?

I love these things, have to get this R2 for sure!
I have seen the Spudtrooper once at Walmart, only time I have seen it.
Tons of Darth around though, so with Spud only 1 per case, I assume they
just kept getting bought up. Have to pick up one more (vader needs two flanking
him damnit!).

Probably when R2 comes out they'll change the assortment to 1 R2 and 5 Trooper or ideally 2 each of Tater, Trooper and R2...

Cool, another Spud to add to the collection.

I saw the Spudtrooper a few times but no where near the quantities that Darth Tater is out there.

Didn't I see a prototype somewhere of a Chewbacca Spud?

I think that is just the "Buddies" Chewbacca in that photo...  :-\

I went to C3 and I definitely don't remember any Spud-bacca being there (and we spent hours at the Hasbro booth).  Someone would have reported it by now if it were something worth mentioning...


On the R2-D2 front, a few more pics have turned up such as this one:



What I didn't know until I saw this pic is that Spud2 comes with a mini-holo Spud Leia!  Very cool!

Thanks for the pic Jeff.  I just saw that this morning as well, and the fact that it has the mini holo Spud Leia makes it even cooler.  I'd like to pick this one up if possible.  I still haven't found the Spudtrooper here though, and I'd kind of like to get that one.  It would be nice to have a "complete set" of these.  I wonder if there will be more in this line or not?

I'd say you could take that one to the bank.  I think these have been selling like crazy.

Any guesses as to who might be next?  3PO?  Luke?  or maybe a prequel character like Anakin?
