- Oh, because I have to draft for my Fantasy Basketball Team all Friday night.

It took me about an hour with 12 teams and a roster larger than that.  I think 1 1/2 hours will be the max time.

Oddly enough my first post disappeared.  Is that what mods do now omit people from playing in fantasy leagues without explanations?

I have class Thursday nights until 9 MST and Fridays and Saturday nights aren't so hot for me either. I also have hockey games on Sunday and Tuesday nights, so that leaves Monday and Wednesday nights Don't schedule anything based on what I need though, sice we are doing a yahoo Draft I'll just pre-rank my guys too and let the computer draft for me.

Not me, sir.  I've got the hiccups like Mayberry's town drunk, whatever his name was.

I'm gonna abstain from participating in this fantasy league, for the simple reason that, well, it just wouldn't be any fun, both for you guys, and myself.  I have seriously kicked so much ass in every fantasy league I've ever played in before, that I've found that not only does everybody I'm playing against not have any fun because I've kicked their asses so hard, but I haven't had any fun myself, because there's been absolutely no competition.  And yeah, so what if every league I've ever been in has been in my retarded cousin's nursing home?  It doesn't matter. 

My heart's just not in it anymore.  There's no more fantasy sports ass left to kick.

It's kind of sad, really.

Maybe I'll see you next year.

Looks like we've got 10 teams (or soon will once the 10th adds his team).

Now, on to a draft day...  From what I read above, it sounds like Sundays will work out best for everyone involved (Wednesday being the second choice).

I'll check out Yahoo and see what we can get...


OK, looks like Sunday is out unless we want to draft in the morning.   

How about this?

Draft Day (via Yahoo LIVE DRAFT):

Date:  Wednesday, October 19th
Time:  9:45pm EST (8:45pm Central, 7:45pm Mountain, 6:45pm Pacific)

That will give us about 2 weeks to get the rosters set and up and running.  It also gives us time in case we encounter technical difficulties on draft day and need to move the date.

Everyone on board for the 19th?
