Star Wars Charity Auctions

Toy Shop has put together an amazing group of collectibles that are being auctioned off to aid the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.  The auctions are being run by Charity Folks for 2 weeks and will end on October 11th. 

There's a bunch of great Star Wars stuff involved:

- Obi-Wan statue, limited to 1,500 pieces
- Padmé Amidala statue, limited to 1,500 pieces

- Darth Maul full and battle-damaged lightsaber set from Episode I  — signed by Ray Park

- Stormtrooper Blaster from Episode IV — signed by Carrie Fisher and Billy Dee Williams
- Princess Leia Collection Blaster and Thermal Detonator — signed by Carrie Fisher
- Star Wars: Episode III Lightsaber Set — Features six lightsabers in a custom-built case with a special-edition plaque.

All auctions end Tuesday at 6pm EST, so it'll be interesting to see if there are any last minute bids from big spenders.  It looks like there will be a nice amount of money raised for Katrina relief.
