Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis figures

I was checking Diamond Select's shipping list and Black Ops Jack shipped this week, so by this time next week I will have all of the basic's for Series 1 and just waiting on the Unpainted Figures & Variants.

I am probably going to have to buy an extra Serpent Guard & General Jack O'Neill so I can build 2 full gates. I will put one with my figures, and put the other one in a different room. Just so they have a different gate to go through on the other side of my house...(damn I am a geek!)

That makes two of us.

I need two gates as well.

If they do Atlantis figures I hope they do a Build A Gate for those figures since they have a different gate. I would really like to see an Iris made for the gate. That would be a cool accesory to have.

I have been reading over at Gateworld that there are suppose to be 4 different variants. Any way to confirm what exactly are the variants coming out, and when they should start hitting?

I have seen the following mentioned...

Green Camo Daniel Jackson
Green Camo Jack O'Neill
Desert Daniel Jackson
Desert Jack O'Neill

I still have yet to see dates for these myself. I think most of Wave 1 just reships as variants. Hopefully we will hear something more concrete from DST or the vendors soon.

My order still has yet to be filled, which has me a little worried...

BTW as for the rumored variants I think those four are coming out for sure, I thought I had also heard rumors of General O'Neill in his blue fatigues, but I can't confirm that.

Man I can't wait for these. I guess Anubis and Daniel must be the chase figures in Wave 3. Three figures had seemed like a small wave based on how many we got in 1 and will get in 2. The sculpts on those sure look great too.

I like that they're also making a DHD, MALP and even the communication device Vala and Daniel used in early season 9.

I am still working on opening mine. I have the Serpent Guard & Col. O'Neill opened. Here is to getting time tonight to open the rest.

We have received about 1/2 of our ordered stock. Unfortunately, the factory in HK has "messed" up our order, and we are not receiving the entire balance at this time. We are going to go through and try to fill single set preorders and then at least 1 of the 2 multi preorders first (you will still get the free promo figure), and when balance arrives, will continue. We will keep updating status here, but as of today, we cannot fill all preorders due to factory error, and a final resolution to the situation has not been reached.

That is the first and probably the last time I attempt ordering from NewForce.

On the bright side BrentS was able to pick me up a WW Chicago Exclusive Daniel Jackson this last weekend.

Hmmm. I got an email from UPS/NewForce today, maybe I got my preoder in time afterall...  All it said when I entered the tracking number was that UPS has recieved an electronic billing notice from NewForce, hopefully they aren't just getting my hopes up.
