As I sit here in the office working away on a Saturday afternoon on a huge project with a Monday deadline, I find myself enjoying what I'm sure would be considered a "guilty pleasure"...
The Hits of the 80's music station on Music Match.com (or anywhere else for that matter). Yep, that was my era, and I loved the music. Totally groovin' out right here at my desk as we speak! I mean c'mon now, how could you not love "Jessie's Girl", "Whip It", "Mickey", "867-5309", and Stacey Q's classic "Two of Hearts"...?!

Feel free to flame away all you hard rock music lovers...

Red Vines licorice - a must have when traveling to the US
I guess these might count for me as well, though since we keep a well stocked bucket of the things right in the lobby area of our office, which I'm only about 25 feet away from, Red Vines are just a part of my regular (nutritious) day. I probably eat a good 20 per day when I'm at work...

The Gambler Possibly one of the cheesiest songs ever is perhaps one of my favorites "On a warm summers evening, on a train bound for nowhere"
Ah yes, a great song... The morning of my wedding (which was in the late afternoon), me and my 7 groomsmen went down to the only bar in my wife's hometown, a total dive, but we had the joint all to our selves. We had a couple beers, shot some stick, and grooved to the jukebox. But when one of my buddies played
The Gambler, we all stopped what we were doing and just sang our hearts (and lungs) out to the song. The doors to the bar were wide open, and I'm sure all the local passersby could hear us all loud and clear. A beautiful moment of male bonding really. So great we did it again once more before we left...
Trading Spaces Ever since I became a home owner I can't help but like this show, no matter how much it challanges my masculinity. It is really fun to watch and some of those designers are hot!
My wife's a big fan of this show too Scott. She actually just called me two minutes ago to tell me that Slash (from Guns n' Roses) is supposed to make a guest appearance on the episode she's about to watch. Apparently he's a big fan of the show!

Even better is that they're doing a house in Van Nuys, which is just 5-10 minutes from me here in Sherman Oaks (for a professional keyboard player). Maybe I should hustle over there and meet Paige, eh? Oh yeah, these shows aren't live...

Patty just gave me an in-progress update on the show - Gieneveve (sp?) is teaching Slash how to sew!
