Man, that was ESB level dark. Spader sounded great!

Marvel's reaction to the leak was awesome too.

Rumor is there's a Beth-centric episode coming in 2 weeks so I'm assuming that's the next time we actually see her.

I was kind of preoccupied during the last 30 minutes (plan to rewatch later), wasn't that Gareth the Terminus leader at the end there with Bob? Or was it fireworks guy?

Other Collectibles / Re: Revoltech Star Wars Figures

So these are roughly 6 inches, give or take? I'm debating getting the Stormtrooper and Vader for kicks (plus I think that the Revoltech Vader looks better than the Hasbro one :-X) but I can't seem to find anything regarding the scale. Either that or I'm blind.

TV-9D9 / Re: Star Wars Rebels - Season One (Spoilers)
« on: October 15, 2014, 06:57 AM »
I gave this a watch the other night... wasn't too bad, but I kind of unfairly find myself comparing it to Clone Wars so far. The pace was much, much faster as has already been mentioned, but I felt like they did a good job balancing the action and the talking. Mainly I guess it doesn't feel like these guys are "rebels" as much as they are "guys trying to make their way in the universe, but they just happen to be stealing from Imperials." I did like how they threw in Organa/3PO/R2, and the Star Tours easter eggs were fun too.

One thing I noticed is that it seems more cartoonish than Clone Wars... the colors seemed brighter, and the scene in the Starspeeder where Chopper and Ezra are flailing around seemed to have a bunch of animation, more so than the typical flips and stuff we saw in Clone Wars.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Captain America (Movie & Sequels)

In the comics, the government required people with superpowers to register.  Half the heroes were in favor.  Half were opposed.  And they battled across various books.  This was the arc where Spidey took off his mask.

Heh, this would be the shortest movie ever then. Everybody knows Tony Stark is Iron Man, Captain America has his own Smithsonian exhibit, and didn't Black Widow release all of SHIELD's information online?

There's always Bob. In fact, had they swapped Glenn and Bob at the drainage trough I would have totally believed they were about to off him, and that the group was actually in danger.

I had to go back and check the post-credits scene since I missed it (figured it was some stupid Hardwick gag)... pretty cool and apparently the vines around the sign had grown meaning it happens some time after the episode. Apparently they're going to be doing a lot of flashbacks/forwards this season.

Wish I had known, my TRUs have plenty Reveal sets. In fact, it's the only Rebels merch they have. I snagged one last week.

Just finished up another great buying experience with Jeff last week. Thanks for helping me finish off the 3.75 inch Black Series!

Yeah that was one of the best episodes they've done, ranking up there with the pilot and the season 4 mid-season finale.

Stopped by a TRU while on the other side of town and found another few cases of Wave 4/5. Picked up Ree Yees and also the Rebels 2 (3?) pack just because the BOGO is still going on.

Good news for LEGO AND JP fans... hopefully it's like LOTR and we get a few sets from the original movies too!

Good stuff. I can't say I'm excited for some stuff like Boussh but then it's been 9 years since the last one and I forget it isn't fully SA. Loving the Han and Mosep!

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII
« on: October 7, 2014, 02:19 PM »
Come to think of it, Battle of the Heroes was really well done for ROTS too... I actually really enjoy the Episode I soundtrack and give it a listen every once in a while when I listen to the OT soundtracks. I thought it was weird that they recycled music from TPM for the other two prequels (examples being podrace music during the scene where Gunships invade the arena and Qui Gon funeral music being reused for Padme's funeral). I wonder if Williams was simply unmotivated because Ben Burtt was drowning his stuff out with goofy sound effects.
