I agree that the UPC covering the packaging is a legit gripe. I mean the packaging is pretty much the only reason TO buy this figure.

Dammit... I'll bash a Samoan in the head with a coconut in his honor.

What are you running now?

Windows 7, but I just reset my system to factory settings a few weeks ago. I don't have any freezing issues with any security updates? *knocks on wood*

Is Windows 10 worth downloading? I stopped keeping up with software after I graduated college and couldn't get it for free anymore.

Went to the LEGO Store yesterday and snagged a Rebels Stormtrooper Transport to get the ROTJ poster, giving me a full set of OT posters. I have two of them now and might combine them to make a bigger transport... just wish the Stormies were "normal."

Pluto looks nothing like what The Magic School Bus said it looks like!

I read that it's going to take something like 2 more years to get all of the data/pictures because it's being transmitted at speeds slower than mid-90's dial-up. Crazy!

This article really needs one of those "Trigger Warnings" all of the feminists demand nowadays.

Imgur Rehost of the Leaked Pics, just in case Gizmodo's link goes down

Huh...leaked images two days after a major Con?  Exactly how Disney wants to show off all the swag they have planned  ::)

Saw some funny comments in the Reddit LEGO section thread about these pics. People saying they're glad Disney/Hasbro/LEGO aren't allowed to show anything off because "it'll all be a surprise." Guess these people just fall ass backwards into money?

By "limited release" do they mean it's one of the limited number of items that they're actually producing for the launch date?

Well the minifigs are awesome, but the models themselves leave a lot to be desired. Not digging the X-Wing, probably because of the colors. The Falcon looks exactly the same as the 2011 version but with crappier mandibles.

I just read the great review the JD main page linked to... nice comparison shots with the 2010 Jabba. Of course the new one suffers from shoddy paint apps which is pretty unacceptable for the price. The reviewer does end up recommending the set for people who need the Rancor (aka me) so I'll be picking one of these up when they hit TRU retail.

I don't blame people for voting for Jango. How much Prequel stuff have we gotten out of this line? Maul, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and two Clones? So five figures in a line containing maybe 30 figures total?

I'm definitely interested in buying one, but I need to decide whether or not I'm collecting TFA stuff first. I feel like this is something we would need to support if we ever want any OT vehicles like this (although I'd rather have smaller stuff like a Skiff, Landspeeder or Dewback)

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (SPOILERS)

Making Star Wars posted a pretty cool article with some possible leaks for the Aftermath book. Sounds like there will be more PT involvement than we've been led to believe so far. I really like the blip about Mas Amedda becoming the default "leader" after Endor.
